You got me on the I have never fallen out, I like you worry about saying stuff that will come back and bite me. It took you a minute to get back on topic and I can see we have a lot more in common other than fishing. Thanks for sharing this video with us and I hope you have a blessed weekend,

Had a pa14 on yakima barebone roof rack. It does work. It's held up well for 3 years but car topping is ridiculous hard even for someone who is extremely fit.

Do you ever fish this thing in rivers? I’m very torn right now between a PA and the hobie lynx

Hi Troy, pedal drive kayaks aren’t good for rivers. Especially the rivers in the Pacific Northwest. They are very gradient.
Slow and deep rivers could be fished with it though. As long as there isn’t much current.
Usually on rivers i use a drift boat, raft, or pontoon boat.
If you have the ability to transport a PA, go with the PA

I fly fish from a conventional paddle kayak (Jackson Mayfly). I've always been concerned about the fly line being tangled up in the peddle drive. Is that a problem with the peddle-style kayaks like the PA 14?

It's occasionally a problem. But the benefit of having a pedal drive kayak over a paddle is a enormous

Hey dude, was thinking about the 14 180 drive for back bay and flats in Florida. Good choice? Or outback?
