In an age where stars only draw us in • Gaze is swept
from our mother who birthed us here • She’s stormy, doubted
and over-relied on • Take a good long look at that horizon
We bleed it dry • We multiply • And soon we’ll say it’s time to fly
So scorch the host
Silenced by the solar wind • Forests evergreen wither to sand
There’s still shade in this wasteland • Shadows of towering
glass span • As far as you can set your sights on • Take a good
long look at that horizon
We bleed it dry • We multiply • And soon we’ll say it’s time to fly
So scorch the host
She’s stormy, doubted and over-relied on
She’s stormy, doubted and over-relied on
She’s stormy, doubted and over-relied on
Take a good long look at that horizon
Open your eyes • Two worlds collide • Open your eyes
We bleed it dry • We multiply • And soon we’ll say it’s time to fly
So scorch the host and watch it die
Watch it die - เพลง
Those chords are so beautiful! You guys did a fuckin great job!
Getting a Wes Borland vibe from that intro riff. Digging this album.
Total Wes Borland inspired.. love it!
2:20 *That sexy riff!*
Loving the clean tones n ambient vibes in these new tracks, just what Marcus needed to lead Northlane forward, total lyrical control
Daz B I've been hoping for this ever since I heard him feature on the In Hearts Wake album. We needed more songs like Animate. Totally stoked to repeat this album
Yes, animate was an incredible closer and one of the best songs they've made.
Ever since his 2 audition songs i've been hoping he would get more freedom n more lyrical control of the songs
WES BORLAND IS THAT YOU?!
That song makes a difference, love that grunge influence on modern metal/rock, plus thats fits perfectly with this planning athmosphere they've always had that makes this band so special !
If Northlane want to evolve its music, they've found the perfect thing.
This is so 90's and early 2000's. I love it.
I have listened to this album straight about 25 times already.
4+ years later and it's still perfect!
2:35 Jesus Christ, Marcus has grown the vocal cords of the lord
Took me a while to appreciate this album, but now I absolutely love it.
This song has some heartmachine vibe to it
Love this! Such a vibe 🤟
HOLY SHIT
Since Marcus joined I didn't enjoy anything that Northlane has put out but this album? Fuck man, I listen to it 24/7 now haha, it's so good.
His cleans are pure gold.
so fucking good!
90s Grunge vibes.
lost in lucidity more so alternative rock/metal. I could imagine hearing this in the late 90s when bands like P.O.D, Deftones, incubus, tool were coming up.
Sure, you can definitely hear a ton of influences in this album. It's a great progression for them and their sound.
its really a vibe of heart-shaped box - nirvana idk why lol
Getting Oldschool vibes from this one. I feel like I'm 12 years again
2:36 cool run
Yeah Marcus kills this so hard, holy shit.
Marcus is my top 10 favorite male vocalist of all time in my opinion.
I did expect everything but this. Wow. Already ordered the blue faded vinyl ;)
Btw. Marcus really outdid himself with the vocals. I mean, his range is far from good or evil. That is really impressive.
She's stormy doubted and over relied on!!!!
Stuck in my head
Catchy
earth
Such a good song
I FUCKING LOVE THIS ALBUM!!
Hey Northlane you can slide into my DM's any time.
this song feels soooo good!!!
This song is so good. The opening is so epic.
That ending riff...! Damn
I will see them in 2 weeks 😍
10 Years
Fully reminds me of Limp at the start
I really liked the way the band taked
Open your eeeeeeeEEeeeEEEEeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYESss! (Fukn yasss)

The cover has been uploaded...
Fuckkkkkkk!
Favourite off the album!
You guys are ALL wrong. This isn't Boiler 2.. this isn't My Way...
This is straight- The One.
Very Identical
Wes Borland, is that you? Ahahahah
Great song and great album
Heart Shaped Box by Nirvana?
zguion nope
Hahaha yeah, once it's heard you can't unhear it
kurt coborthlane
Wheytogo Korth Coblane
Also sounds like the riff from an Incubus song from Make Yourself.
Good Drumming here
Boiler pt 2
I get it. Old Northlane fans won't like this. I listened to the old Northlane, and it didn't do a whole lot for me. Perhaps it's because I come from a progressive background, and I find this to be more musically appealing to my ears. The old Northlane just wasn't all that interesting instrumentally wise compared to this. Adrian's vocals were sick though, but it lacked musically. This is far more interesting with the ambient and clean tones throw in.
Danny Sicuranza I'm not sure if you were implying that this is progressive music but it's not. This song follows a pretty simple format. I feel like this song is perfect for the radio.
I hear characteristics of progressive metal in a lot of this album. I also agree about the musical structure being sweet to the ears (if that makes sense). One of the most enjoyable modern metalcore records of recent to me personally :)
As an old Northlane fan, I like this :)
fuck off you wanker
what the fuck new northlane is so dope
it's going to be one hell of a tough job to make their next album better than mesmer was.
Update: They did it, the fuckers did it.

"My way" and "Heart shaped box" had a baby LOL
more likely something from 3$ billY
I get the Limp Bizkit comments but you can't just say any song with a delay and chorus pedal are Limp Bizkit
No, but you can't deny that these guitar riffs sound a lot like Wes Borland
mt2oo8 it’s not just the guitar with delay, it’s the groove that comes with it
Wes borland! Are you playing the guitar? Haha
Does someone have a backing track to cover??
the beginning is like old limp bizkit
this songs sounds like it has been taken from Adema's Unstable or Planets album.
This is sick! Does anyone have just the instrumental?
Jarrod Cook nic Patterson does just drum playthrough and guitar no vocals just search solar drum or nic patterson
This song is the sequel to the Let It Happen cover. Let's be honest
So much Limp Bizkit stuff going on here! haha
haha!! my god ill never be able to listen to this song again.
I was literally 5 seconds in and thought the EXACT same thing hahaha.
Livin Life in the Northlane Yeaaaa!
I was literally 4 seconds in and thought the EXACT same thing :D
Sounds like if Jon or Josh are using the Jazz Chorus Amplifier from Roland, the one that Wes Borland uses.
Listening @ 888 likes :)
flagged for pornographic xontenr
I'm really not a fan of this type of music, but this song is fucking awesome
i could get lost in that intro
our last night vibes?
Nu-metal 2000's
Literally thought I was listening to Nirvana
Anynody else hears nirvana?
Dead letter circus? XD
Keef Syko looks like haha
Not a bad thing
NorthBizkit
unskippable 30sec ad? come on
this is like a heavy red hot chili peppers.
Nu metal init
i swear this is a nirvana song..
limplane
I hope they release an instrumental version as well, since I can't really dig the vocals in this
Personally, I'm not down with this album at all, nothing will compare to Discoveries and Singularity
check out a band called invent animate if you're looking for that old northlane sound. this new stuff great
Oh yeah I've been listening to Invent, Animate for years. It's just that I, personally, don't like the direction that northlane has gone
pat hayden please stop comparing. They are obviously different. Marcus' direction takes them to a different level. I love all northlane. If I'm ever in a mood to listen to heavy northlane I go Adrian - but Marcus progresses this band to a whole different level. Like it or not they are different. Adrian is 2014 news.
I could not get into Invent, Animate. Sounded like every other garbage generic metalcore band. This least has enough variety to be enjoyable. Or perhaps it's because my background is with progressive metal. I like the new direction with Marcus. Reminds me of a less mature Tesseract.
I'm allowed to compare albums haha I'm aware they are different currently. I'm aware they have a different vocalist. I'm saying I prefer their sound when they were a lot heavier. Like it or not, that's my opinion.
make me care for fuck sake
Why should they?
Decimate neggy vibes bro
it just doesn't touch my heart
I agree with you. Render and Citizen are probably the only song I think are actually good. The rest sounds too much of the same riff being overused and slightly changed to make a new song. Lyrics are pretty garbage to be honest. When they lost Adrian they lost more than a vocalist, they lost an artist and a poet. And also those monstrous lows are replaced by these clean singing that just doesn't do anything for me. I'd put Node as better than this album
Pineapple Express that's it, too. nobody seems to miss those lows. Adrian's vocal capacity decimated what little Marcus has to offer. and to people saying Adrian couldn't song, fuck 'em. I really liked his cleans, albeit scarce, they felt very natural and fluent. but oh well
