I can't say i'm a fan of Nora Godwin's stories tbh. They are not up to the standard of Craig Copland's. They are very un-ACD like.....almost like children's stories. Both use obvious Americanisms like "we walked 4 blocks" , "on the sidewalk" etc. but that's forgivable. Just my honest take.
Like the bartender asked if the polar bear: why the big paws? Peter Silverleaf is a brilliant narrator. The pregnant pauses were obviously added later to evade copyrights or something. It’s irritating I don’t think I’ll get through this recording.

The ads are so random, loud and annoying that they've ruined all the pleasure and late night listening. At the beginning or the end yes, but I'll never listen to another story!

Edit the audio, shorten the gaps. I'll even do it for you. The lengthy pauses ruin the whole thing and it's stupidly easy to sort.

The narrators long pauses every minute gets very dreary as if he plays for time as after a while he starts to speed up .
