You are amazing! I totally love your creativity! I love that you share your love for God and your family throughout your home. Patriotic decorating is my favorite. I visited Germany with my college choir in 1973. I saw the blown up buildings and even walked across the border with friends at the gate beside Check Point Charlie. The evil and oppression I felt in that communist side of Berlin still haunts me today. It made me realize what freedom really is and how much God has shed His Grace on us. We need to pray fervently for our country. Thank you for your ministry through your channel. ❤️
Oh yes we do need to pray for our country, that it will return to God again. I can't imagine the feeling of evil you must have experienced. I truly love our country and the favor and blessings that come from living here that God has given us. Something about the flag and remembering those who scarified so much to give us the freedom is something that gives my heart joy and so much pride to display its beauty. I love Americana decor, especially when it's vintage. I like to drape a flag on my antique sewing machine. My husband says it reminds him of Betsy Ross. I love the bear idea, as well as all your inspiration. God Bless you and your family. ❤🙏

As silly as it may be, my favorite part of this video was the bingo cards! My dad was a lover of playing bingo at the local firehall in town every week. Seeing your bingo cards immediately took me back to those days and those precious memories! Now I have to find me some bingo cards!!! ❤❤

One video a week is just fine. You do whatever you need in your life and we will enjoy whenever you have time to create for us. I always love putting out my red, white and blue. I'm under the weather right now, so will leave it packed up until I feel better.

I love so many of the ideas you shared in this video, Michele. The little quilt square and the Bingo cards, small touches but such a great idea! And the flag draped thru the frames, love that! Oh Michele, I am so glad you are taking care of yourself! We are most creative when we don't feel so stressed. I love this video! especially the flag in the empty frame. So stunning. I also love the teddy bear with the hat. I do use stuffed animals that I really love. I taught kindergarten for many years. The basket of white flowers with the piece of old quilt really speaks to me! You always inspire me and have a beautiful day!💝💝💝

Oh my beautiful sweet friend I love your adorable basket with the adorable teddy bear . The hat on it and the flag looks amazing. The idea with your flag through the frames is perfect. I always get that my house has to many things and my friend says she can’t take it all in but I am with you. I love it and it makes me happy so I am going to enjoy them. A little late getting to your post but we had a scare this morning. My 9 year old grandson woke up with his eyes swollen together and his face so swollen and red. When he went to hospital they took him to a room in ER right away. Prayers were answered and he is now home doing ok. Love,hugs and prayers. My beautiful friend.

I love it all!! I’m definetly a maximalist, I don’t judge those who are minimalist, to each their own is my take!! My home my rules is my motto! I think you do everything in great taste and style! I just love the way you draped the flag with the frames and the way you arranged your old shelf. Those little bibles look like Gideon bibles. My cousin is in that organization and they put bibles in a lot of places that allow them. I got a white one when I graduated nursing school years ago and one as a graduate from high school. Each color does mean something. They also give them to service men and women. Enjoy your videos anytime you can do them. Thanks! 🇺🇸🇺🇸

I love it all and the teddy bear is adorable! My first born child , my son , passed from this world to heaven at age 12 ! His nickname was “Bear” and I kept his favorite teddy bears and decorate with them at Christmas! Everything looks beautiful! God bless sweet lady ! ❤️

I love your flag box! Even as a child, I was the type that cried in school assembly when the bands played patriotic music. Yes, I use stuffed animals to decorate and your bear is indeed precious. I really like the way your decorate and it always gives me a feeling of “home,” escape from the world and all its cares. Glad you found some thermoses and knew you would display them perfectly. You asked about plate hangers…on heavy plates, I trust only the heavy duty wire hangers. I use the round disc on lighter plates, such as state plates, and no accidents so far but have tried round disc on metal trays and they crashed.
Thank you Diane for the advise about the plates, I've just been too worried to try them. I'll look for the heavy duty wire hangers. I'm like you, something about patriotic decor and music moves my soul. It just something I really love to display in my home. I'm thrilled with the thermoses but now I just want more! So fun!!! I love your unique way of decorating for the seasons with your amazing collection of vintage things. I love the flag draped through the frames and the bear added to your floral arrangement with the hat and the flag I support you cutting back to one video per week i am happy for you to take care of yourself and reduce your stress. Michelle I love what you did with the flag & frames!! That's gorgeous & so creative, i would have never come up with that! Your decor is always so inspiring! And it amazes me that you do all the gorgeous decorating with one hand.. that's talent, most of us could never!🥴 That's interesting about the little bibles, I'll have to do some research on that! I have a really old bear, its a collectable and she's dressed in a handmade dress & jacket with a little petticoat that's made from scraps & old feed sacks, safety pins & old buttons..i had her sitting in one of my little antique dining chairs and holding a really old little fuzzy handmade lamb. Its actually one of my favorite finds. I say was because we've already started packing up our home, ready to put things in storage.. we leave for Tampa tomorrow or Sunday morning. We were supposed to already be there🤦♀️ Girlfriend please keep us in your prayers, we need all we can get😞 Ohhh Goodness the like bear looks precious! Like you, i only have the one bear as far as stuffed animals go. I have a white frame almost like that one i use to layer. Honey, this is YOUR home, and you live there! You decorate however you please, if someone doesn't like it, they don't live there & shouldn't say anything! Girl I'm A maxilmilist and I'm gonna layer & stack & add as much as i can..i love it & love yours too😊❤ So you're 100% right, do what makes you happy! I do collect old bibles, and i love them too! And I'll collect as many as i can, i think that's one thing I'll always collect. My oldest dates late 1800's, and my favorite is a small chunky leather back dated 12/25/1849..it was signed from a brother who gave it to his sister for Christmas! Its just special! I don't have a lot, but i will😁 I only have a few little flags, but i have the flag that was on my dads casket, it was folded & presented to me by the marines. Dad was a WWII marine vet. I have that flag in a wooden triangle glass front flag box. Its gorgeous! I don't have any thermoses.. yet! Lol I'll find some eventually! I've only been seriously collecting things for less than 2yrs. I've always had A few pieces, but I'm serious about it now!😄 I kinda just started out buying whatever i thought was pretty or whatever i liked.. Now i collect alot of different things, all the things lol! I love to tea it coffee stain things! I took a page or song from one of my old hymnals to frame, and smeared the coffee on it to stain it, the hymnal Is old but the pages are still bright. I'm Gonna stain another one and frame it in a cross stitch hoop, I'll stain the hoop too, I think that'll be cute. Sweetie you need to do what's best for you, and we understand! Michelle all I can say right now is WOW.. that bible verse and what you said was the exact words i needed to hear at this time🥹 As we will be leaving our home, possibly out life here in Tennessee that i love so so much, and heading to Tampa tomorrow to possibly start a whole new chapter in our life. Whatever that chapter may be, it will be whatever God opens the for for, wherever he leads us and whatever direction his will is in our life, that's where we'll be. Its been A horrible, nightmarish, past two weeks. So much hurt, tears, pain, things i just will never understand! But we know Gods got us and we have many friends here in Tennessee and family in NC that's praying hard for us. So I just ask that you'll continue to pray for us too, that we'll here from God soon, the doors will open and life will become a happy, comfortable & pleasant once again! Love you my friend❤
I'm like you and just always collected the things that I loved. I remember seeing all white pitchers displayed in a cabinet many years ago and that one photo sparked a love for things I didn't even really know about. It's fun to see what others collect and how they display them. I have no doubt your home was filled the brim so many wonderful treasures. That old Bible you have sounds perfect and so sweet to love and cherish something that was meant for someone special. It's like we are saving those special things and giving them new life. I know you are going trough so much and my heart and prayers are with you.

I can't imagine moving so far but I know if it's in God's plan then you are doing exactly what you need to do and the joy will come. Hi Michelle! Yes we are here.. we actually just got here last night about 11:30. The trip kept getting delayed for one reason or another. But I just wanted to thank you for you prayers & encouragement.. you don't know hot.w much that means cause this mama is TIRED & DRAINED!! Mentally, physically & emotionally😞 But i me God's got us and he's already got a plan in place! I'm trusting & doing all i can to keep my faith and not doubt.. but I'm human and sometimes i get discouraged of course. But Gods never failed me so I know its going to be ok, just got to get thru this little valley! And I've got to stop questioning, I'm horrible about asking why why why🥴 Thanks again sweetie, and just keep praying for us as I'll continue to keep you in my prayers also! Love ya sweet friend🙏❤
@tammyleviner3070 of course you’re human and I’m sorry that this has been so tough on you. I can’t even imagine the stress that you’re going through. I just know in my own life when things are out of whack and I’m wondering what my purpose is I always think of Jonah and that whale 🐳 and then I think oh Lord just lead me where you want me to go. I do pray that God will give you his favor and show you his purpose and that he will also give you his peace. Since your old flag box already has tape on it, you could always give the top a coat of matte mod podge to make it not be so noticeable

How do you make the paper hat?
Oh goodness I should've showed that. Let me see if I can explain it to you. Take two old book pages and then you want to lay them horizontal with both pages together. Bend the top pieces together toward the center to make that point at the top. So the top corner edges fold in toward the middle. Then you take the first book page and turn it up {the straight part at the bottom that didn't fold into the middle} and then flip your hat over and turn the back piece up which creates a hat for you. I did glue my pages together at the top once I got the hat formed. I hope you can understand what I'm talking about.
I do love the red, white, and blue decorations. You always do a great job. I do think that picture of Jesus is throwing off the decor, it is too modern for your decor.

I thought it was fine to display old flags in your home. I have bought many that are in boxes and I love getting them out to enjoy their beauty.
