With Android 10 and above you can even use your smartphone to recover your WiFi password, if the WiFi is defined on the smartphone. Go to the WiFi Settings, open the WiFi you need the password from, now select Share. Now you can see a QR-Code. Read the QR-Code with a QR-Code program (make a screenshot if needed) and you will see the password. Some devices eben show the password below the QR-Code. ;)
