🤔 The word "despot" means one who holds absolute power. ((which He does)) **And is typically used to name a tyrant or a cruel dictator. ((which He is not)) Words are significant & important. Handle the sword wisely, deftly, responsibly... lest you cut someone.
One more question; how important do you think the missing books of the bible are? They seem to be somewhat redundant. The book of Enoch and Maccabees seem to be interesting.
I've been taught that I can build my life on the Word of God. If there are books not in the Bible they can be used to confirm what I know is in the Word or to give some light on the truths within the Bible. If the "missing books" run on a rabbit trail that is not backed up scripturally I do not trust it and take what I read from that with a big grain of salt. The Word is a light to my path and a light unto my feet. That's my opinion on it anyway. Bless you! :)

I use the TLV version of the bible. I am looking for a second bible as a cross-reference. I was down to the old KJV for my choice, but the KJV does not use Yah'shuwah's name in any of the scriptures. For instance, Psalms 23:1 says The Lord is..... instead of Adonai is my....... I am taught Lord is pagan. What Lord, Lord Ba'al? Please not being argumentive, just trying to understand. All modern translations are not in keeping with Yah'huwah's word. I thought the old KJV would be my go to. Please advise. I would appreciate it.

I use the KJV. There are issues with mistranslations with many Bible translations. What I do is use several commentaries to help understand what the real meaning of the verse is in case it's been mistranslated. I am just like you - I want to know the real meaning, the actual wording like Yah'shuwah. You have a heart after truth and God loves that! The fact you asked this question reveals your passion for God. I am praying for you. Bless you! :)
@@DailyEffectivePrayer You are right. In the past I have used the TLV and I have noticed a couple of verses that weren't clear as they were in the KJV. I will however, stay away from all of the modern translations; like the ESV, NASB, MES, NKV, NIV and so on. There are verses completely missing from these translations. There are keyword changes to verses which completely confuse their meanings.

The unbelieving Jews have a different translation for that verse. Instead of on the mountain the Lord shall provide they translated this way:
Here it is from the tanakh JPS version
"Genesis 22: 14 And Abraham called the name of that place b Adonai-jireh; as it is said to this day: 'In the mount where the LORD is (shall be ) seen.' "
And the most amazing part of it is, that the Lord was seen as he was tried and condemned as a criminal before Pontius Pilate on the same mountain!!! It was prophecy that the Jewish scholars missed, and continue to miss to this day
The King James version also captures it;
“And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and LOOKED, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah Jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen. Genesis 22:13-14 KJV
