you wasted so much water you should turn it off when not in use

i left it running because it takes a long time to heat up and then i filled my mop bucket + coffee pot! no wasted water here :)

Water that goes down drains, pipes, and other sewage areas actually gets filtered, cleaned, and recycled back into your water system (:
Water that gets soaked into the earth and isn't sucked up by surrounding vegetation & wildlife eventually settles back into the water table and gets sucked up by wells and water treatment facilities (:
No such thing as "wasting" water.
Edit: Water also evaporates and that vapor gets recycled by our clouds. Lots of lies out there to make people feel guilty about things that aren't even real, just sayin.
