Pena que no Brasil passou apenas uma semana na TV Globinho. Na outra segunda já havia saído. Eu estava ansioso desde que prometeram no SBT...

If I was born Japanese, I could have her sign to me at concerts... That soundtrack is so powerful.

You don't have to be born Japanese to go to a concert in Japan

@@projectmessiah Well, sure. But who would pay my travel expenses? And who would turn on subtitles, so I actually know what are people talking to me and what is written everywhere? Especially in the '90s, maybe '00s.
You comment it like it was easy to just go to Japan, like it was in the next town and the language barrier didn't exist. And back in the days You didn't have Google Translate. You either knew the language or get a dictionary that wouldn't be really all that helpful, because You also need to know the grammar as well, not just words. And because Japanese uses reverse sentence, like it is SOV instead of SVO.
So no. Without being born in Japanese, it would be quite impossible to go to concert in Japan. Maybe if my family was rich and knew Japanese at that time. But nearly nobody in these years knew Japanese. Most of people who knew just basics were anime/manga fans.

@@Netsuki Sounds like you just don't wanna put any effort into it. 1st of all while it's easier said than done and I don't know you're financial situation you can always work and save up money yourself for a trip. 2nd of all Japan is a very English tourist friendly country, quite a few Japanese people know at least very basic English sentences and a lot of signs and stuff have English translations on them. Obviously it would be hard but you really don't need to know Japanese to go to a concert. The way you're talking about it makes it seem like you're gonna go to Megumi and have a full conversation with her lol.

@@projectmessiah Did You even read what I just wrote?
I was referring to '90s and '00s, which was 20-30 years ago. Back in these days it was hard to travel to another country, especially for a kid. And what would You expect? A kid asking mom to fly to Japan and they just agree like that? WTAF.
And what would that matter now? She probably doesn't give concerts now especially for old songs.
Regardless, flying to another side of the world just to go to the concert is a big NO. Do You really expect anyone to fly to another country, book a hotel and go to the concert just like that? Not every person in the world is super rich. This would cost a fortune.
I just made a normal comment and You are picking on me for no reason. I can't travel to country next to me, let alone to another side of the world. I just said that I wanted to see the concert live if it was close. Nothing else. Why do You have to make problem out of thin air from that?

@@Netsuki Cry me a river dude. Sounds like you're the one getting upset over basic conversation. I wasnt aware you were that young so I apologise for assuming otherwise but Megumi Hayashibara while rarely (Like 1 or 2 in the past 5 years and we dont know when the next is or if there will be another rare) has done concerts recently and you could obviously do other things besides just go to the concert, if you were an adult or with an adult that is. All that aside though you're the one making problems out of thin air, the closest I came to antagonizing you was the effort comment and once again I apologise if you interpreted any of what I said wrong but I was purely speaking in what I believe to be a matter of fact with the intention of giving you advice.
