Very disappointing to see you visiting Dubai, in a country that is known for their human rights violations including prison and capital punishment towards LGBT people and using foreign migrants as slaves. But hey, I guess if it pays, that's all that matters.
Yeah that's almost as bad as enslaving africans for hundreds of years and committing genocide against Native Americans. Or if you want to talk about England, we could talk about white colonialism and the horrible atrocities that were committed from that. But only foreign countries, like the UAE have laws and do things that are messed. I find it hilarious how quick people are to forget their own brutal history and how ill informed they are of the messed up practices their own country does.

Close to 40 degrees is hot. I'm from Adelaide and that's a heat wave for us, and it can be unbearable being outside!
I'm from rural Australia and 40 is very hot for us even though it gets to 46 sometimes in summer

But just to add. A lot of companies invite you tubers to these things (shoots, movie premiers) because it serves as a way for them to advertise their product. So they pay for one person to come to their headquarters or whatever and that person has a ton of viewers and majority of those viewers will then go check out the site, which will then be good for business. It's a marketing partnership where everyone wins.
yeah basically to advertise their business because they know she has a lot of subscribers.

Oh, you didn't?! All the above comments say how annoying it is that American's use Fahrenheit and everyone uses centigrade. We were taught how to use it in school and you are all right it doesn't make sense but it is what it is.

Even if it was, who cares. Her job comes with amazing perks!
This video is what she actually did. Made 5000+ viewers (who are well within Boohoo's target demographic) aware of the brand, pimped their clothes, jewellery, shoes and bags for 15 mins. It's a good PR strategy. In return, she got a new experience and free holiday.
Turns out Chinese song goes pretty well with that fountain thing:)

No, it was really playing. It Dubai they have tons of music playing to go along with the fountain. The fountain is always set up to match the beat and rhythm of the music. It's really beautiful (:
Please say I'm not the only person who is driven insane by Bohoo's TV ad's :| They seriously annoy me and put me off every buying from them haha.. Still I'm sure it was cool seeing them make one.

yes, it is normal in Dubai to hear music from arround the world because the city hall wants to cater to all their visitors. You should visit it one day and see yourself

I am a local from the UAE, Dubai...its true there is a dress code when entering a mall, not because its a sacred place LOL but because the malls are where locals tend to gather most outside their homes...I'm sure Fleur noticed there are not a many locals walking outside or on the beach...this is more for tourist... if we want to have a swim there are private clubs and ladies nights at the water park... and yes it is REALLY hot in Dubai that's why you wont see us walking outside...we travel by cars even if the destination is 5 minutes away... and someone mentioned in the comments about locals giving looks to those who don't dress appropriately ? isn't it obvious ? we are a Muslim county...however we still respect the cutlers of others... try going to Saudi and you will be FORCED to cover up... since the people who made these comments don't know anything...you should just keep it to yourself...
and Fleur I wish I'd known you were in Dubai, I would have invited you to dinner in my home...

I never knew you could wear such short skirts in Dubai.
You can wear short skirts if you are ok with causing offence as well as people staring at you for disobeying the dress code. Specially in the mall,while on my holiday,after reading on the door (which says dress respectfull ,shoulders and knees should be covered!) I had to buy jeans and jacket. (I was wearing knee length shorts!! )You are absolutely right!

I think it's because of the strong ac in the mall. since when are malls sacred?! Lol!!
It's not just in the malls, you can go anywhere with shorts and people will stare at you especially locals, so you really just need to get used to wearing appropriate clothing when your in Dubai even though it's hot.
How can you, especially as a woman, support such a place that is so discriminating and backwards in their practices. It's really disappointing, because I thought you were a better person than that.

you should look into the construction in dubai and realize that it is modern day slave labor. I refuse to travel there for this exact reason. the promise workers a better lifestyle and then confiscate their passports/greencards/visas so they cannot leave. Instead they live in mass campers with minimal/subpar plumming. Its horrible.

Sometimes videos are a bit misleading because good lighting and makeup can make less than perfect faces look lovely (as I know because I can get good angles to make my skin look good), but yours in the sun was just absolute perfection. You're very lucky xx

I live in dubai and btw the first mall that you went to is the world's largest shopping mall and that aquariam that you saw is only the smallest bit of the aquariam and trust me when i say that the emirates mall and dubai mall need years for you to get used to the different places of certain shops they are both like a maze! However dubai is incredible, i hope u enjoyed it! I love u😘

They play different songs in different languages every 30 mins like Arabic, English, and apperently Mandarin.
It's a classic 90s love song. There's a Mandarin version and a Cantonese version--this was the Cantonese. It blew my mind. I did not expect that in a FleurdeForce video haha

I grew up in a suburb of Dallas and everybody refers to Dallas as "Big D", so perhaps you could call your zebra pillow "Big Z"! After all you said you had a two-hour nap, aka 'made some zzzzzzzz's' on the plane (I assume with your travel zebra pillow). A great remembrance of your meet up in Dallas, TX… Big Z from Big D! ;-)
Anyone else missing the everyday normal vlogs? I like the travel ones too but I much prefer seeing what they all get up to on a daily basis. Ooo and I miss my daily (monthly) fill of Treacle and Squidge. Bring back the regular vlogs!

the Burj Khalifa Fountains were actually designed by the same person who designed the Bellagio fountains so you were right to sense a similarity! I Have only seen the Bellagio fountains in person but I've heard they are very similar! Hope your having an amazing time in Dubai! :)

I'm living in Dubai it's a great country but no body should come to it at this time of the year actually even us we travel in this time because of the heat if you just come a month earlier the weather was awesome this heat is only for 3 or 4 months

When i lived in Cyprus i used to hate the aircon, i'd rather them not even use it because the hotness outside hits you so much harder and makes you feel like youve walked into an oven and its horrid! & also dipping in & out of an aircon area to hot area can actually make you ill

Omg the song that was played during the fountain show is a VERY FAMOUS Chinese song sang by a very FAMOUS chinese singer. It is very bizarre tho, to play a chinese song in Dubai public..

If I'm not wrong, the Chinese song is "Goodbye Kiss" by Jacky Cheung. It was also adapted by Michael Learns to Rock and renamed "Take Me to Your Heart". I love that song :))

40 degrees!??! holy crap, that's even super hot to me and I'm Australian, you must have been dying! Looks like an amazing trip though. Seeing the clothes makes me consider shopping at Boohoo again but I've done a couple of hauls on that site and I've honestly been really disappointed with the quality of it every time. It's low prices so I know it's not going to be the best quality but the stuff didn't last more than a couple of wears and washes without fraying or pilling :/ and it never looks as nice in person.
