A fellow Canadian creator! Always nice to see!! Also never thought of using a glue gun to make the base ground for my bases, thanks for the fantastic idea! These turned out incredible!
Oh man, you stepped up your bases for these. Love em, so atmospheric. ❤ ...and high praise for your respectful intro and content throughout this video. We will remember them.
Really like the respect you show for Remembrance Day, wish more people did that. Great bases and the epoxy idea is a great one. I'm gonna use that method for some dioramas
This was a great video bro. Ive had my eye on trench crusade but i have no gaming group so im probably not gonna go balls deep on buying . This base tutorial can easily be modified to make nurgle bases!!! Thats exciting!
2-part epoxi glue thinned down with ipa and tainted with an ink or contrast, as a working alternative to acrylic puddles products (never more than 1mm thick lest it will crack) seems genius, but uv resin could perhaps be a faster, and similarly priced alternative?

These look lovely.
As a fan of both fantasy and historicals, I do approve!
Very tasteful too considering the date and subject.
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the video!

Thanks so much, they were fun to do. The day and all of them deserve our respect.

Thank you. It's a very important day. The epoxy is definelty a cheap way to do puddles. The isopropyl is key to make it fluid enough to use easily.
Awesome mate, Ive been working on a bunch of similar bases these last few day aswell.
Thanks! Awesome, it's a really fun project. It's definitely nice to just work on some scenic bases without a mini on it.
Great tutorial!
Thanks so much!
Useful info!
Awesome! I love hearing that! Thank you!
Trench Crusade looks really interesting, I would probably check it out if I had an actual gaming group lol
Might be fun to just kitbash some stuff. Not having people to play with is the worst.

Some of the minis are just too good! I'm not even sure I am gonna play the game, but I will use them for The Last War.

The cracking works great for broken ice. Clear resin is probably cheaper buying in volume.
In the US it's Veterans Day, I'm a Veteran and I appreciate that you didn't do your usual jokes opening thank you and these are great bases
Thank you for serving.
Looking forward to Trench Crusade!
@@andycoutts517 looks really good.
