The reason it's yellow at the scalp and orange past that is because your regrowth was too long and you needed to do the outer part first, let it lift and then go on the scalp. Came out looking awesome though!

I'm no hairdresser, but from what brad mondo says in his videos the roots at the scalp process the quickest because of the heat from your scalp? So when you have lots of regrowth like you did I think you are supposed to do all the darker bits first and then only do the roots against the scalp at the end? I'm a nurse not a hairdresser though, i could be very wrong 😂

Heya x I work at the Bleach London salon in Brixton. Feel free to come in and have a chat next time you wanna do a Bleach colour! We're always happy to give you some tips!
Next time put some plastic wrap or a bag over your hair. It traps oxygen which helps the bleach to lift lighter! :)
I mean tbf the biggest tip is literally to just avoid letting them grow over 9 weeks. 😅
Also that Rose neon colour guide will never not freak me out.
You did a great job!! One of the best big bleach roots home jobs i've seen so far. :D

Lowkey embarrassed that you saw me do an awful job with the bleach though 😂😂 That’s such a nice idea and I’d love to if I wasn’t 2 hours away in Bristol 😟 I actually just refreshed my roots and toned it with the lavender grey toner too!! Root growth needs to be 4-6 weeks if its too long it doesn't take. I find if I leave mine up to eight weeks it's still gold and I need to do them again. Shorter is better with roots.

My hair is pretty dead at the ends I have ballyage hair my roots are light brown do you recommend this bleach I am really nervous incase it goes wrong or my hair falls out I just want blonde hair 😂xx

Hey lovely! I can’t speak from a professional stand point because I literally have zero experience with hair apart from this little experiment at home 😂 when you buy the product it gives instructions on how to do a strand test. This means trying the bleach all over on one small portion of hair (like from underneath) and then you can see what the colour and texture goes to. If you’re going to use it I’d 100% say you’d need to do that first to make sure it won’t break but ultimately the choice is yours. I personally found it to be a good bleach for what I needed and will definitely buy again if I do my hair at home in future. Bleach London are really helpful so maybe DM them on Instagram for some advice too 💕

Garnier Nutrisse D+++ everytime for me personally and a shower cap !!! It lifts my dark brown to platinum ... good result though 🙂 x

It’s great isn’t it! It’s not quite a shampoo it’s more of a semi permanent colour cream, it’s the Bleach London super cool colour cream in shade Rosé! I’ve linked it in my description 😊

My hair turned out the exact same but I hate it :( it looks like a wig and I'm not sure how to fix it so that it looks pastel pink. Especially the roots, in my opinion look really neon(?). It's also super shiny :( if anyone knows how to fix it id really appreciate it.
