What a tune, what a player! I’ve been hooked on Blue Jean Blues since seeing Billy play it live in 1975...along with many other of ZZ TOP’s immortal classics.
sorry to be so off topic but does someone know a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my account password. I love any assistance you can give me.
Pretty poor version of " BJB". I was lookin' forward to hearing it. Wish now I hadn't clicked on it. Houston had been goin' thru' a ZZ Top drought for a while in the early 90's, when I saw "Bobby and the Midights" (Bob Weir's solo gig) at Cardi's do the absolute finest example of this song at the "Reverend's" request. I still dwell on the performance today.
I'd have to agree with that assessment, pretty uninspired and I've seen them several times . . . I was born in Dallas and lived 30 yrs in Austin. Cardi's eh? Hasn't crossed my mind in decades. I saw Leslie West play there when he was unable to stand due to health problems. I spent 2.5 hrs sitting 5 ft away on Cardi's small stage. A very major talent, I was glad to see his health improve over the years.
I love my hometown boy, the music is good but the lack of that bottom end that a real bass guitar provides keeps these songs from sounding as rich as they normal would. Glad you're still carrying on Billy. Come home soon and bring a bassist, preferably Dusty.

Have mercy miss Percy. A lot of guacamole cheese and hot sauce all up in there!
Nice Gretsch Round Badge Silver Sparkle, 1 up 2 down in big ass sizes! Nice K cymbals too (22" 19" and 18"?)
No Bass?
what's that guitar they are both playing...?
Iain MacGillivray Gibson SG

No bass player ?
Did ZZ Top break up?
No. Billy just put out a solo album and toured on it.
хорошо
Anybody remember when Dusty shot himself his gun fell out of his boot
The Guy on the left isn’t really playing guitar
I think RBG could play with an acoustic muddy shovel...
7strings hair
Seré tu fantasma
That poor stand in has no idea when to start ad libbing with Billy. Must be lonely.
Piss poor version of this song. The one on Fandango is far superior. Even Jeff Healey's cover was better than this lame rendition.
each are good musicians.....and I love BG....but it just doesnt have the "Top" magic...
