Ended up going with this bow when compared to a few others. When shooting back to back vs competitors that lightweight felt really good to me. Personally I didn't think a half pound would matter so much to me, but once in hand it is hard to deny. Plus it holds well, has very little vibration, and is plenty fast for anything I'll shoot. The only minor compliant is I feel it has a very short valley compared to others. I've gotten use to this though after a few hundred shots.
I do not shoot Mathews. I shoot Hoyt. I don't want to shoot a Mathews. But if you are asking the question is it worth the weight? Unquestionably, yes. The most bang for your buck this year, probably next year too.
James I totally agree with you I also shoot Hoyt also. For the weight of the Mathews Lifts is definitely a good thing but for I don't like the draw cycle too. And the other thing is that everyone makes a big deal that it's the best bow out there and I disagree with that. There is just more than Mathews bow out there like we both shoot Hoyt, there is also Bowtech PSE the also make great bows too. But at the end of the whatever you like and works the best for you that's all that counts!!!
I've had 4# bows for years. It's not a big deal. Nothing groundbreaking but Mathews makes great bows. The limb legs and switchweight is very very nice.
@@fullsendoutdoors266 ok yea you made that bow look smaller lol. I’m 6’ with a 29 drawlength. I have the phase 4 33 and love it. I have a lift 33 on order.
I told my bow shop I just wanted the first one available didn't care what color. Lucked out and it was ambush green which was the top on my list anyway. Otherwise people have been waiting for months for theirs
Do yourself a favor and skip shot sense for 300+$ and look into mantis x8 for 150$. Mantis wrote the book on dry fire firearms training and their archery x8 has been out for around 4 years. I'd be extremely surprised if shot sense wasn't developed by mantis.
I had a phase 4 but I'm going to buy a rx8 just go the carbon route this time mathews will eventually and it will be a $3000 bow I'd rather spend $2000 and have mine
No doubt. But I’m sure the draw cycles are 180* and the stability are night and day. There’s a lot more to a bow than just weight and speed. Some people are looking for an easy bow to shoot. Some are looking for speed.

Good video!
Curious how tall you are and your drawlength. The 33 definitely fits you.
I am 6’5”. Really enjoy a 33” bow personally.
Thanks for watching.

If only they could get them into customers' hands sooner.
For sure.

Love the Mantis system. Have used them a few times

Love my rx8. 😊
Apa is lighter and faster
That’s true. Not really carried a lot of places though, so hard to get hands on one.
No one cares. Everyone thinks what they bought is the best because they're afraid of their own ego.
