Great Question, Answer is "There is enough scope for research" usual observation is the flower size and petal count is reduced down, color of the flower is also lighter as we have a lot of heat compared to England but for sure they will flower way more than the desi rose we love t, i have grown one variety Falstaff fragrance of that flower is extraordinary, but it is smaller than it is shown in the gardens of England Fortunately Past president of rose society of Pune Mr. Arun Patil has taken this responsibility of this research, I was with him last week planting roses in his farm, we planted around 13 David Austin varieties but it will take at least a year of time to have some observations. finally what I would suggest to you is go for it if you are willing to try something new and different than others Some David Austin varieties are available with KSG roses Bangalore (9845002001), if you require any assistance in selection of David Austin varieties i can help you out (Whatsapp only 9561984385) Best Wishes
