I had a very brief brush with Gunpla back in 2001 just after Toonami had Gundam Wing. My local back water Comicbook store had a very tiny selection of the Gundam kits. I was lucky enough that the proprietor was able to order what I wanted to fill the gaps in what I needed. I built 19 different kits back then. Half of them were like 1/144 Entry Grade. But I also got some 1/100 scales from Endless Waltz series. About 2 years ago, my nephew brought it to my attention that Gunpla had exploded in popularity and got me back into the hobby. I was able to acquire my first Master Grade in the mobile suit Epyon and my first Real Grade with Wing Zero Custom from Endless Waltz!!! I am super excited for this Monument build!!! I have 2 Pre-Ordered, one for myself and one for my nephew as a thank you for reigniting this hobby for me!!!
@ZakuAurelius and because I'm on the verge of being a horder with my Collection, I still have all my original Gundam Wing and Endless Waltz Gunpla from over 20 years ago!!! Their boxes didn't survive, but they did!!!
Nice to finally get confirmation on the clear red pieces for the crest - the preview images really weren't clear IMO, it looked like injection metallic a lot of the time.
6:31 - Whats up with Runner H in the top right corner? Kinda weird placement on that one frame piece. Maybe they're planning a TG II or III at some point.
The original PG 1/60 RX-78-2 from 1998 didn’t have a metal frame. Not all PG kits have die cast frame parts. Even though they do make a lot of difference in quality for poses. Let’s hope that this is good quality plastic for this model kit.
@@SukasahaSukadi My 1/100 can barely hold a weapon straight and stand with his backpack without a metal frame. I can't imagine plastics being able to support a 1/60
@@mechgouki7999 yeah, for some odd reason my PG SF is doing just fine even without any metal supports, even tho it's wings is heavy af (prob 60% of its entire weight) However my 1/100 Full Burst Mode ver., is the exact opposite. It always falls on its back due to its wings. Not sure if the PG engineering is doing the trick
From what I’ve seen so far in my PG collection there is Die Cast parts in the Wing Zero Custom, the Strike Gundam, and the Gundam Astray Red Frame Kai. The Wing Zero has die cast hip, waist, and ab joints, and both of the Strike Gundam and Gundam Astray Red Frame Kai has die cast parts in the knees and crouch. Aside from that I’m not sure how many others have die cast parts in the kits.
Not that I’m aware of. But considering the many versions of the Astray they made I think it’s safe to assume they’re gonna make TGII and TGIII versions
So it's PG size and from the box art it doesn't look like it's made by Bandai, honestly aside from Moderoid, Bandai and 30MM I didn't know another company that makes mechs.
If you notice in recent years where I’ve combined them I still will separate them often for large kits where the unboxing portion itself would take around ten minutes. I don’t want the full video length over 30 minutes. Plus I wanted to use the unboxing video as a way to let people know ahead of time that I would be live building the kit as well. So yeah, something like that 🙄
@@ZakuAurelius don't pay attention to that, it was sarcasm, I knew with popular kits, the review would always be divided to separate parts and just make a remark on that
If TH-camrs only review Bandai Gunpla, he is gonna run out of content really quick, you got ONE Master Grade per year and ONE Perfect Grade per decade💀
My guy figured out that there’s a lot demand for monument repair content so he’s pumping it haha, good for you man

that bird is the word: Shortduck
Built it. I'll give it a 7/10. Not a bad build but some of the fitting is incredibly tight and it's hard to get everything to fit perfectly.
Given the size, complexity, and (relatively low) cost, that's very good
This looks freaking epic! Reminds me of a bird that's not short...
A particular towering avian...
Like a... Giganticduck?
Perhaps a colossal gosling or a waterfowl of monstrous size?
Perhaps a member of the geese family?
A waterfowl, perhaps of a heightened variety?
Now Bandai needs to make a PG Tallgeese for real
😂😂😂 as if😂😂😂
Remember their Last PG release and when it happened 🤭🥱
im so excited to build mine when the full release comes. love the tallgeese and love this so much
Love me some legally distinct geese
I'm so tempted for this kit its so amazing looking!
Got mine ordered today. Absolutely so stoked to get it. Only downside is I have to wait til November to December 😢
👏 Great unboxing, can't wait for mine to arrive! 🚀
Just put in my pre-order at USAGS as soon as I saw your video on it! Can’t wait to get mine 😬👌
I enjoyed watching it~ You did a good job!!
Very very beautiful kit!
Dang I preordered mine awhile ago I'm still waiting for it to ship out
6:31 - Whats up with Runner H in the top right corner? Kinda weird placement on that one frame piece. Maybe they're planning a TG II or III at some point.
Really hope the rumor of two more of these are true.
That's be a sight to behold.
Considering the versions they made of the Astray, I’m sure it’s likely with this kit as well
I do wish they still made the version 1 of their Astray. It looked so damn good!
Not a fan (usually) of designs this close to bandais but i gotta admit.... this thing looks sick
Same, and same! Haha
mine still in preorder
Hoping you'll do a review for the "Sky Defender"
Aries striker pack? I thought it was like transformable Aries suit that plugs in to a back pack. 😅
Hoping someone will make an Aries kit someday!
waiting for the build and review, it just looks amazing, hopefully it makes Bandai release a PG tallgeese soon to
Oob it looks great, I saw some pictures from chinese reviews.
Amazing model! Hi From Argentina!
can't wait for mh order
Palastic looks good
Live build please Zack
I’m planning to get this one too
How do you know about this kit? Available outside China?
Such a large kit but no cockpit or pilot figure. Even a sitting generic pilot would've been nice
Gods work! Really hope this fits better than the Astray. That thing was a rip off.
cant wait to see the live stream... 😁
What is weight of the box with full runners?
Ehhh didn’t check and it’s too late now, sorry! 😅
Nice
Where to buy, for Europe?
It's a BigGeese!
YEESSSS!!! 🎉
Zack, are the background LEDs final? imho they don’t suit the custom gunplas very well. Maybe a warm light would work better?
I can change the color yeah
middle of October release? eh just in time for my birthday at least.
Hopefully sooner but we can’t say for sure
OH FUCK HOLY SHIT
Why would the chicken head crest need an inner frame...
Your Tallgeese vs the Tallgeese your wife told you not to worry about
Hey is it ABS, PS or some of each, i'm planning on painting mine and I want to make sure I get a primer that's safe if it is ABS.
9:40 he says it’s mostly ABS
@@BenShepard-i2w well damn, how did I miss that. Thanks.
Yeah not totally sure but it feels like a lot of ABS as far as I can tell
HOW THE HECK IS U ALREADY HAVE THIS. I'M JEALOUS OF YOU 😭😭😭
That box is so huuuge.
what is the name for your shelf? I like it so much!
IVAR from IKEA
@@ZakuAurelius thanks man,
AYO WHAT IS THAT TALLGEESE
I NEED IT
It's a Chinese 3rd party kit that resembles the Tallgeese
"Not Tallgeese honest guv!"
Highduck?
Saw a Chinese review with decent subtitles. Sadly, there really are fitting issues with this one as well.
Nilson, if you read this please make VF-1 look alike mech in 1/60 scale please. I will buy it on day one
That’s a Tall Goose!
Kinda gives off *_Big Duck_* energy
Zechs merquise my time has come
Duchs Margeese
