I love how y'all consistently structure the "cool animal facts" in these videos using a hypothesis-evidence-rebuttal-better-hypothesis dialog, rather than just saying, "bulldog bats are afraid of the moon" or even jumping straight to, "the best hunting is when the fish are attracted to artificial lights." It's such a cool way of getting your audience to engage and showing how scientists think and how our understanding of these bizarre beasts has evolved! 🦇

It's not uncommon for an animal to have an additional animal in its name for descriptiveness (like an elephant seal or a bee hummingbird), but the bulldog bat is weirdly a bat named after a dog named after a bull, for a total of 3 animal names in its common name. I wonder if there's an animal with 4 animal names...

Dragging their feet through the water where there is not any fish currently could be used to attract future fish to that spot.
They could be using their feet as a lure in those instances.
    It probably works.

If youre fortunate enough to live were there are many bats at night when they fly nearby you can hear the noises they make it sound like clicking to me, but my driveway goes through the woods and the bats fly up and down it all summer, they might only be 3 or 4 feet from your head if you're walking down it at night because of the overhead branches. I assume they like hunting there because the bugs from either side of the driveway gather in the open space provided by it.

2:46 I can explain how underwater predators can tell what’s around them with out looking. When something moves in the water or touches it, the object sends waves throughout the water. These waves hit animals which turn into signals for their brain or system to read, thus alerts whatever living thing is in the water and to go away from it or not

That last fact about how obscenely loud they are is amazing, I'm still sitting with jaw slighly agape as I write this; it put me in the mind of the Blackadder Goes Forth quote, "One question, Baldrick: How did you get so much custard out of such a small cat?" Something else that may be at play here is changes in bug and fish activity with the lunar cycle - it's more documented in sea-going species I guess but there ARE organisms that rely on the phase of the moon for big events like mating and spawning. If the bugs are more plentiful on a DARK night (predator avoidance) - then some predators are going to adapt and favor the darker nights. The artificial light - I'm assuming it attracts fish because the fish eat the bugs too, right? So that could be yet another layer of cause and effect.
