Nawaz Muhammad Nawaz Khan was an influential and wealthiest landlord of Punjab who ruled over Dab Kalan state stretched over hundreds miles between Jhang and Multan. He fell in love with a Heera Mandi call girl Shamshad Bhai who was eventually murdered. Nawab Muhammad Nawaz Khan was booked in her murder case and even the best lawyer in subcontinent Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah could not get him released. Nawab of Dab kalan trial is considered one of the famous world trials. Bilal Ghauri shares this romantic as well as tragic story in his series "Dastan"
