  • SHOCKING TRANSFORMATION OF MEGA MANILA Infrastructure Projects
Metro Manila, the National Capital Region of the Philippines, is the center of culture, economy, finance, education, and government of the country. It is the 4th richest city in the region and ranks among the upper 100 Wealthiest Cities in the world. With a gross domestic product of $192.6 billion which contributes to 44% of the country’s economy, despite its small land area.
The national capital Region of the Philippines, is rapidly growing. While its development and urbanization are well-expanded beyond its city limits, from the core of the Metro to its surrounding areas.
The bustling Mega City is home to over 17 million people, in an area of less than 620 square kilometers, making the region one of the most densely populated metropolis in the world. However, challenges comes with development. Daily traffic congestion, over population and pollution are the fundamental problems, Metro Manila is facing. Which curtailed the nation’s potential growth. And this is spreading to the surrounding areas of Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, and Cavite.
Without a present solution, these problems will worsen as the population steadily increases from 23 million to 30 million for Mega Manila by the year 2030. Becoming one of the largest megacities in Asia. With these in mind, the Philippine Governments create a doable long-term integrated infrastructure development for Mega Manila. Using Transport as the catalyst for sustainable development. Aims to provide solutions to traffic congestion, and to enhance connectivity within Mega Manila.
These, are the top 10 biggest infrastructure projects in Mega Manila, which will transform the Megapolis into a premier Megacity in Asia-Pacific, as the city regains its past glorious glory.
    The Metro Manila Subway.
    The North-South Commuter Railway.
    Sangley Point International Airport.
    New Manila International Airport.
    Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge.
The Metro Rail Transit 7 or MRT line 7.

The Philippines is just a "little" brother to Indonesia in terms of economy. We're looking forward to the success of Big brother Indonesia's transfer of capital city from Jakarta to the new location (Kalimantan?) near southwestern Philippines.❤

I am so proud of the Philippines with these world class projects! But if I may say so, one thing common among developed countries is their cleanliness. I am hoping that we address the aging and dilapidated buildings and homes too, especially along the path of the train systems and throughout the stretch from the airports to main destinations. Let’s give our passengers an even more beautiful view. 🎉❤👍 Go, Philippines! Aim high!

Sadly that wont change, there is no civic pride when it comes to cleanliness and much less thought for the impact of personal actions on others. The mindset of throwing trash on the ground or in the Pasig river still is strong.

Once these new airports in Manila open, all of the international flights should move to these airports or at least NMIA. NAIA should be demoted to a domestic airport. Domestic flights can still happen at Sangley Point and NMIA.

On the contrary, NAIA isn't going to be "demoted" but instead going to be TRANSFORMED into a global quality airport following the win (success) of Sam Miguel Corp. from the bidding recently. Like the Bulacan airport, the renovated NAIA will be under SMC's operation for fifty years.❤

I want to see non-stop European flights and additional North American non-stop flights land at one of these airports, most of them using NMIA.

They have to finish all of these projects as soon as possible, especially the New Manila International Airport to allow additional non-stop flights throughout the world.
Philippine Airlines should get an Airbus A350-900ULR and/or a Boeing 777X-8 to handle non-stop flights between the New Manila International Airport and airports in the southeastern United States starting with the Washington Dulles Airport distance and then extending to airports like Raleigh, Charlotte, Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa, and Miami.

Did you know that the phil is the first country in asean to have an elevated train system!!!!! That's the LRT 1 built in 1983!! We already has an elevated railway in manila while all south east asian countries dont have!! Phil is the first in asean to have a nuclear power plant!! Built in 1983 in morong bataan!!! Built by the father of now president marcos!! Marcos sr even has the building of subway system in manila during the 1980's!!! But he was deposed by the americans in cohorts with the liberal party!!! Their lapdog politicians!! Since 1986 the infrastructure has been neglected by these american puppets!! They even mothballed the nuclear power plants!! Neglected everything that resulted on massive brown outs during the administration of cory aquino!!! What this liberal party members do!!! Privatized almost all basic services!! Like the electric distribution!! Water distribution!! Privatized petron the government own gas station!!! This are given to their oligarch supporters and financier!!! Thats the reason why phil is now behind on infrastructure compared to the neighbors in asean!!!
