Waiting for NATO is not the reason Ukraine is still fighting, Ukraine would be fighting anyway because they are trying to keep their sovereign-country status and freedoms that they have already earned (the hard way). They have come too far over the years and suffered way too much to get here. They would rather die trying to keep what they've earned, than trust anything Putin says or does. If they surrender, it would mean no more Ukraine. They won't and shouldn't let that happen. They are in a good position right now. I think there is more complexity than what is presented. It's not about Russia asking about "de-Nazification" it's about Russia's attempts to avoid any solid language and promises that would reduce their influence over Ukraine. This includes land already occupied by Russian forces that can easily be held hostage by them or the separatist regions. I think overall the promise to not join NATO is an easy giveaway by Ukraine. The issue is figuring out how to get Russia out of Ukraine's business for good.

Separatist areas won't be annexed by Russia, they will be independent republics. Russia, or Putin in this case, doesn't want territorial expansion. They just want to liberate minority in Ukraine to have their own countries and prevent NATO influence. Putin might create puppet government, like what US did in Afghanistan, but it won't be literal territorial expansion.

I 100% agree. As much as I understand Zelensky manoeuvers towards Nato, to get some leverage while his country is in a very bad position, it's up to Ukraine to decide. Because at some point, these attemps of humiliating Nato ( that don't want to declare war on Russia for obvious reasons ), are not serving Ukraine's interests and are not leading them to peace. It's looking like Zelensky tries to avoid the responsibility of peace. It's starting to be very political moves protecting his own image and I don't like that, there are many lives depending on him. Yes, there were things that could have been done differently, but engaging in this war, apart from humanitarian help, supplying with weapons and economical sanctions against Russia, would simply cause so much more suffering. De-Nazification doesn't necessarily mean getting rid of the Nazi's we think of in WWII. De-Nazification refers to getting rid of all of those who are not pro Putin, pro Russian. A couple of things are for certain. 1) Ukraine cannot agree to disarm completely. Doing so will leave the door open for Putin to invade again w/o any pushback. 2) Russia has to pay for all the damage. This will likely be trillions of dollars. 3) Economic sanctions remain in place until Russia rebuilds Ukraine.
I agree with your observation, however, it is likely that at least one of your proposed stipulations is likely to be compromised if Russia is ever to accept such a proposal. Putin will not see it as being worth his time nor consistent with his ideology to accept all 3 of these conditions.

I was anti tank platoon in the parachute regiment and was trained and fired the javelin. Wicked weapon system. Top attack, fire and forget unlike the milan system it replaced in the british army. The tracking gates in the sight system are easy to use and locks onto the target with ease. The only problem i had with the kit was it wasnt durable enough. Why give a clear answer and end the war, when every day, more weapons are financed, bought, and shipped to Ukraine? How would ending this war benefit the arms dealers, or the banks facilitating it all? If peace broke out, it would be unbearable.

I think there is more complexity than what is presented. It's not about Russia asking about "de-Nazification" it's about Russia's attempts to avoid any solid language and promises that would reduce their influence over Ukraine. This includes land already occupied by Russian forces that can easily be held hostage by them or the separatist regions. I think overall the promise to not join NATO is an easy giveaway by Ukraine. The issue is figuring out how to get Russia out of Ukraine's business for good.

Separatist areas won't be annexed by Russia, they will be independent republics. Russia, or Putin in this case, doesn't want territorial expansion. They just want to liberate minority in Ukraine to have their own countries and prevent NATO influence. Putin might create puppet government, like what US did in Afghanistan, but it won't be literal territorial expansion.

As much as I understand Zelensky manoeuvers towards Nato, to get some leverage while his country is in a very bad position, it's up to Ukraine to decide.
Because at some point, these attemps of humiliating Nato ( that don't want to declare war on Russia for obvious reasons ), are not serving Ukraine's interests and are not leading them to peace. It's looking like Zelensky tries to avoid the responsibility of peace. It's starting to be very political moves protecting his own image and I don't like that, there are many lives depending on him.
On a personnal note, he forgets that Nato countries have their own citizens too, and as a citizen of a country member of Nato, I don't want my country to go to war. Period. It is what it is, to each his own interests. Ukraine have to decide of their fate and Zelensky needs to take his responsibility.

De-Nazification doesn't necessarily mean getting rid of the Nazi's we think of in WWII. De-Nazification refers to getting rid of all of those who are not pro Putin, pro Russian. A couple of things are for certain. 1) Ukraine cannot agree to disarm completely. Doing so will leave the door open for Putin to invade again w/o any pushback. 2) Russia has to pay for all the damage. This will likely be trillions of dollars. 3) Economic sanctions remain in place until Russia rebuilds Ukraine.

I was anti tank platoon in the parachute regiment and was trained and fired the javelin. Wicked weapon system. Top attack, fire and forget unlike the milan system it replaced in the british army. The tracking gates in the sight system are easy to use and locks onto the target with ease. The only problem i had with the kit was it wasnt durable enough. We done alot of tank recognition and learned how to recognise nato and russian tanks by just showing us a certain part of the tank and we had to identify them.
