They’re also not common here so while servicing and parts are cheap and common in other parts of the world it’ll be expensive here. I personally have a Kubota, a Japanese tractor because theres a dealership not too far. A lot of fitting and extensions are regional. But man this little tractor seems awesome

The spark plugs drive the pistons downward using sparks that ignite the fuel in the cylinder causing motion in the engine causing motion in the car, the spark plugs only work if theres a battery, and the thing has mf headlights dawg
@@valenwynn There is still a good chance it doesn’t have a battery. The spark plugs only need to be ignited while the engine is turning. So an alternator is the only thing necessary for the engine to run by a electrical standpoint. The main purpose for a battery in most vehicles is to run the starter motor.

You think that is bad, go back and check the farm equipment used in the USA during the first half of the twentieth century. Not only unguarded belts but also chains and driveshafts. If an OSHA inspector from today saw the equipment I used growing up in the 1950's, he would have a heart attack.
Use your thinker and it won’t be an issue. I know common sense isn’t so common these days, but as long as you’re not complete and utterly stupid/useless you’ll be fine.
Growing up on the farm, Dad had a walk behind tractor known as a Gravely model L. We had a thick leather strap that we wound around the crank pulley and gave a big pull to start. We had two John Deere tractors that came with electric start, but could be easily started by hand. You just grabbed ahold of the big crank pulley and gave it a big spin. Newer equipment, if the battery is down, you don't start. Back then, we could still go.
I might agree with you if he had trouble starting it, but there’s a whole lot of appeal to the simplicity and cost savings of fewer moving parts, fewer things to go wrong.
Remember seeing / hearing them heading to the market at 5 am pulling a wagon attachment or plowing a field in Korea back in the 80's. A really versatile machine.

I paid 10k for a kubota295 dlt tractor and sold it 30 years later for 9k.
