Hi friends! In today's video I take you through how I work on Big Amaya Raine's Hair on Spa Day. she has such pretty hair and most people haven't the first clue what to do with her other than sit her on a shelf. And that's okay. I however, love styling her hair and putting new clothes on her. And in this video series my intention is to show how I do that. Starting with detangling and giving her a deep conditioning treatment. I hope you all find this helpful and please use your own discretion with your doll if you choose to try any of these tips. Hi Joanie! Yes she will for sure need a spa day. My suggestion is when you unbox her, take your time and give yourself a lot of space to work. She comes with a lot of stuff and because of her size she can be unwieldy. Her clothes are fabulous too! There are some small accessories, a ring in particular that will be very easy to lose if you aren't careful. Thank you so much for watching Joanie and enjoy your new girl!🥰
@amibrink she came and she was from shopgoodwill. Her hair was a rats nest!!!! I washed and conditioned and I separated it into many sections. As soon as I had 3 small sections, I braided them to keep them out if the way. She has lots of braids all over her head now! I'm ready to take out the braids and I'm not sure what my next step will be!

Great video. I use both conditioner and fabric softener (non scented). It depends on what I can get my hands on at the time. Since Amaya's hair is so long, I have put a drop or two of argan oil on the final combing (or before attempting to use rollers -- I'm not good).

@@amibrink - When I did it, I think I mixed it like 25% to 75% water and I let it set for about 15 minutes. I did rinse it really well. But, I can't remember which doll I did it on.
