- Abraham, tranlated by Esther Hicks, answers a question re. "what realm" they come from, and then explains who they are in poetic terms. Recorded during the 2007 Mexican Well-Being Cruise.
Esther & Jerry Hicks are the authors of numerous books based on the Teachings of Abraham and their latest book, "Money and The Law of Attraction", reached #1 on the New York Times bestseller list.
For over 20 years, Esther has translated blocks of thought from "Non-Physical Source Energy" - which she also identifies as her "Inner Being" or "Soul" - and who refer to themselves in the plural as "Abraham" (no relation to the Biblical figure).

pierinho: Esther is not hearing a voice in her head, but rather is receiving blocks of thought which she then must translate. When she first encountered the Abraham energy almost 25 years ago, she translated the idea of "Spiritual Teacher / Source of all Religions" - which she says she felt from the energy - as the singular name Abraham

I loved the part about how Abraham can not be more than we are! The same is true for all of us. We put people and ideals up higher than us, but they are actually only as high as we are because we put them there. That means that there is no limit to our potential.
What a gift to have these teachings readily available through the internet and TH-cam! Wonderful! My heart expands everytime I see one of Abraham's videos or read any of Esther and Jerry's books!

However, the producer began changing the agreement and bringing in other ideas and points of view that differed from Abraham's teachings. This ultimately resulted in Esther and Jerry opting to be cut from all versions of the video after the first edition DVD. I cannot get enough of listening to Esther and what Abraham has to say. I watch the Abraham-Hicks videos several times a day. They make me feel so good! I am visualizing joining them one day on a cruise! Thank you so much for your beautiful words!

hearit: Jerry and Esther call Abraham a manifestation of Infinite Intelligence - not "spirits" in the sense of "really smart dead people". Esther does not refer to what she does as mediumship or channeling, but rather calls it "tuning into Source Energy". The movie "The Secret" started out as a project about Jerry, Esther and Abraham.

LadiiOri: As Esther and Jerry explain it, everyone has access to Source Energy within - which is sometimes called the Soul - and all are translating the impulses from that Energy continuously, and sometimes verbally. Thus while Abraham does often "speak" of themselves as Source, they also say that the manifestation of Source through Esther which they are, is as unique to Esther as her Soul is.

We focus on what we want but then undermine it in various ways later on anyway. It's so frustrating for that positive energy that if Life could only talk back to us, it would say: I am only as good as you let me! Otherwise you are stuck.

Sherry78: Esther has been acting as a mouthpiece for Source energy - who uses the name Abraham - for over 20 years. This resulted from Jerry's intense desire for answers to life's essential questions combined with Esther's allowing. The process whereby Esther speaks for Abraham has been called "channeling" by some - though Esther, Jerry & Abraham do not use this word.

I understand kind of....but it is not completly sinking in. One thing for sure: It's nice to be on a video on youtube where all comments are positive and people just don't argue about things and opinions. And I definetly hear nothing negative in everything you explain...I might just need more tools to get it in practive.

Esther is "translating blocks of thought" in a process some have called "channeling", though Esther and Jerry do not prefer this definition.
