Here is a showcase of the new secret room in the goblin caves in Dark and Darker. Me and Ziptie my duo, take on trios to try and access the secret stone door room which can only be accessed when both the Cave Troll and Cyclops boss are defeated. Hope you guys enjoy the adventure.

you need to be inside the room if you're bowing, just go past the door the door to shoot. You can re-exit after the damage has been done,. If you are paranoid about attracting agro.
does the damage not apply from outside the door? I dont do bosses, only pvp.
Hey Red, good video but I have to mention that shooting at the boss outside of the doorway doesn't do damage to it at 4:09, in fact I'm pretty sure it heals the boss. If you want, you'd have to go inside the doorway to shoot, then go quickly flip flop back outside.
incorrect. as long as somebody is actively fighting the boss and maintains agro. all damage is counted. none of the bosses can heal. atleast not on goblin caves

@@slimthugger5794 Can also confirm pretty certain you can't damage the boss outside the arena. I've solo'd troll on cleric countless times using the PFE cheese and one match we were running double ranger cleric earthquake with pretty good gear. Both rangers were hitting 100+ on the dummy and the troll wouldn't die after fighting it for like 5 minutes (I usually kill the troll in 2-3 minutes solo). I'm fairly certain it can bug the boss out if you pull the agro from outside the room, thus resetting his HP.
im so used to seeing you play solos but honestly this was one of the best videos I've seen from you. great content and i like the duo pov

Heads up guys, if the arrows are shot from outside the threshold, damage is reduced to ZERO, some hits from your bard's bow were wasted!

Does anyone know if the spawns are legendary only or can they be uniques?
I am pretty sure you don't do DMG to the bosses if you're outside past the door entrances. You must be about a step or two past the entrance for ranged weapons to do dmg

btw u cant dmg the boss from outside the room so the bard shooting Arrows is literally useless
yo good vid, but you have to be in the troll room to do damage to it the same way the troll cant damage you if your outside of the room
broski your surv bow does nothing outside the boss room..
It should, you just cant reset him. Which he would do solo outside
@@michaelp3289 nope, my friend had troll's agro on him and i tried to life drain him outside, it didn't work cuz u can't deal dmg outside

in trios 1 can solo the troll and the other 2 kill the cyclop, a little risky tho

how is looting fun in this game? just wondering. played 2 games, and got epics and blues in every chest. players didnt want to pvp, just ran away. what a fun game
not even close to worth it. would need a guaranteed named item for killing 2 bosses and even playing gc in the first place.
