I had to repeat the stirring part of Alvin's recipe sooooo many times, because i heard "45 times" and i was wondering how that was supposed to work, when you are supposed to flip the aeropress at the 1 minute mark. I finally realised that it's 4 to 5 times, instead of 45 times...
Nice stuff! You can re-condition the chopping board by rubbing some vegetable oil into it for a couple minutes and then removing the excess with a paper towel. It will be more resistent to spilled coffee :)
I've tried the first three including Hoffmann's "espresso like" recipe. When you factor in a simple process with the great results, Hoffmann's is the best IMHO.
Did you do the James Hoffmann recipe with boiling water? (100 degree Celsius) James wasn‘t suggesting a temperature in his aeropress guide video. So how did you find out it works well with boiling water?
If you watch James video he said that for light roast, he suggests straight from boiling, medium roast between 90-95 degrees, and like 85 degrees for dark roast iirc.
Ty for the guides Carl. Just want to ask, is your click zero on the Comandante the same as their definition? So that I can follow your guides better and not waste that much beans on dialing in my grind. Cheers!
Thanks for the complete annotations.

😅 Sorry about that

He actually does. For this recipe he recommends 203F.

Yes, when the handle doesn't fall down. But the right grindsize greatly depends on the coffee you use.
Nice video mate
Great and pretty straight forward as always👍🏻
