For the next 20 years we were best friends while I was in a horrible marriage and he kept waiting for me to leave but never crossed the friendship line. Finally I had enough and when I told him he paid for my divorce and told me that he was in love with me. We had 10 wonderful years together before I lost him to cancer last year. We were soulmates and the loves of each other's lives. Never understood why all his girlfriends through the years hated me. 😂. They saw what I didn't. He was too honorable to ever say anything because I was married. We would both have been happier longer if he had..😢
