It was so nostalgic, I even dream of that day once in a while

I’ve been shown this road too many times over many years of my life. But GOD.... The love and acceptance for the whole me I’ve starved and searched for god only been fulfilled by Him alone. Now, I know the real authentic me and I love her. I also now know why I had to endure the 46 years of heartache, heartbreak, desperation, depression and complete brokenness. This road that I’ve walked with my Jesus has been very hard and painful. A lot of HARD and painful truths about myself😢. I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. It’s all been preparation for now. Allow God to take control. He’s a very gentle heart surgeon. He will bring you the right one that He has for you.

I'm in my 30's and I'm truly a 90's kid, loved this song along with other great 90's music. Whats' funny and kind of annoying is when I hear people in their teens or early 20's claim "I'm a 90's kid!" and I'm like no you're not. Being born in the mid or late 90's doesn't make them a 90's kid because they weren't old enough to remember or appreciate anything from the 90's until much, much later.

However, I played with all the same toys and listened to the same music as all the real 90's kids did. So when I watch those "You're a 90's kid if . . ." things I relate to all of them. In age, I'm not part of that group. But in spirit? I'd like to think so.

While I do think people shouldn't just go around proclaiming they're 90's kids when they know next to nothing about it, you don't have to have been in the age to love and cherish the decade. Hanging out at my older sisters house all the time so I could drink and smoke cigarettes as well as go out with my friends without catching shit from my parents for it lol! I really miss those days back then everything was so carefree and everyone was so happy. Now my sis and i barely speak once or twice a year and every single person in my family is miserable and ive lost every "best" friend that i couldnt even imagine living my life without. Im almost 35 single and have no real life to speak of other than motherhood which is the only thing that makes me happy in this life. I really love this song
I really appreciate this lately. Brings back memories of my childhood when i would hear this on the radio every day while out in the barn with the animals playing or doing chores. It's such a nice easy song and uplifting.
I like this song very much since I was a freshman in highschool on the late 90's, when I listen to it I recall good times.

Me too! I'd kinda forgotten about this song but I did know it before the show and I was so thrilled and pleasantly surprised when I heard them doing it. I immediately paused my episode and looked up the song so I could hear the original again and find out who the artist was and compare the sounds and stuff. I really love the Glee version. ;) One of their better covers IMO.

man this hit me right in the feels! Totally brings back memories of my teen years. Hanging out at my older sisters house all the time so I could drink and smoke cigarettes as well as go out with my friends without catching shit from my parents for it lol! I really miss those days back then everything was so carefree and everyone was so happy. Now my sis and i barely speak once or twice a year and every single person in my family is miserable and ive lost every "best" friend that i couldnt even imagine living my life without. Im almost 35 single and have no real life to speak of other than motherhood which is the only thing that makes me happy in this life. Isnt it amazing how we can hear a song from our past and instantly be transported right back to that point in time! Don't take any thing for granted because all to quickly it becomes just a memory!
