It's an folk tales among tribes in arunachal pradesh that believes that from the first God made two brothers abo tani(father of humans) and yapom(father of spirits). There are also various folk tales of our forefathers that when during migrations upon reaching some places where no humans in sight were there but were yapoms. As here believes just as humans, yapoms can be good or evil that's why in rituals we respect them to look after us. As also in our folk tales there are various folk tales where some help us for bargain just some part of games for crossing difficult rivers, location of games, blessing of strength, etc. or out of kindness while some were evil.
