If you do elimination, then you need brackets to say "ok, they will fight them next", but what if two imposters win and go up against each other? Then there would only be four players that round. I suppose elimination could work, but they would still have to use a scoreboard to determine who should be eliminated. The problem with this tournament is the fact that among us is a weird game, so normal rules for one don't apply. Almost like it was never meant to be taken seriously, and holding a tournament for it is a stupid idea.
The only reason there was a wait time is because of the stupid interviews they did in between that were out of place. Every other tournament that has been done so far used a point system/elimination combo and got through a bunch of games even though the scoring is (and won’t be) perfect because of RNG. This one was just run extremely poorly by the organizers.

I think how the tournament organizers essentially took a fun, competitive game and turned it into a insanely boring game and made everyone basically stop caring lol
