AKJ series! Answer Key J answering subscriber questions! Apparently, this question is something even ChatGPT gets wrong, and I do agree that, quite frankly, the answer choice is kind of stupid. BUT, we are here to get better at the SAT, not to criticize College Board. This is indeed a convoluted question, but by focusing on key words, we can solve it a few seconds.
Watch the video for more details, and lemme know in the comments if you have any questions!

I got this question right, and my reasoning was much like yours. I was first occupied with the entire passage. I thought I didn't understand the text. Finally, after 5 MINUTES, I realized that choice D was a paraphrase of the conclusion. Is the real exam really going to have such questions? I don't have 5 minutes!
@@Astroshid it's surprisingly more common than you think!
heyy can u give a list of question types on where we have to read the whole text?
@@speedytiles2132 logical completion/inference and detail questions for sure. Main idea/purpose/support the claim you look at the conclusion first.
Thanks J🎉

@Jadesolasax still not 100%, but much better. Thanks for asking! 🫡
why couldn't it be answer choice B ??
same question here. i interpreted as multiple tributaries would cause sediment influx at diff points.
@@abirshahid6233 I think it's because we're looking for an answer that focuses on the dirt being spread apart. Whether we get more dirt or less dirt from the multiple rivers, it doesn't guarantee that there will be an influx at different points. Choice B is focusing on the increase at volume, but the increase can be all in one location
@@AKAkwon thank you for this explanation! this makes so much sense :)
B is wrong because if the sediments enter downstream of the sampling sites they are not part of the samples haha
@avikateotia8734 both AKAkwon and yeboi are correct!
Make more videos! I’m improving a lot just because of you!🥹🫶🏼
