This track left me gobsmacked, eyes wide and jaw slack. There is often a vast space separating intelligence and ferocity, but both of you compressed that space into a line and then walked it. And that minimalist production, just boom bap drums and that west coast gangster whine, was the perfect canvass to paint with complex rhymes and clever punchlines. This track represents nearly everything I love about hip-hop, and I appreciate all the hard work of everyone involved.
