Phantom decided to test Zero's Resolve. Encouraging to be ready for the truth and cross blades with Omega. In the end, Phantom did obey X's orders of helping zero like he said in the Dramatracks, but the only way he knows Zero Best, through Battle.
So Phantom is the only one from the Four Guardians who knew after passing out who his real "master X" is. Very cool that this battle was added in Z3, it had this meaning of preparing Zero to meet his fate.
Megaman Zero 1 had great music. It was more gritty themes if anything. What about express, deadline (one of the best in all of megaman zero), ruins of lab?
Express UG- Pretty cool I s'pose, but Enemy Hall is infinitely better Deadline- You mean Deadzone? If you do, it... Well, it's something. That's all I've really got to say about it, though Ruins of Lab- Sounds like generic "intense" music But to each his own, you know?
Enemy Hall is a great song. That song is admittedly the only reason I go back to listen to MZ1 Ost. Yeah, I meant Deadzone (autocorrect sucks). Ruins of the lab- yeah your probably right, but still a great song. How did you feel about the Neo Arcadia Core Ost?
phantom was also the development team's favorite guardian to the point where the still secretly consider him zero's rival. they just wrote him out really badly
I bet nobody's heard this, but they will now once I point it out. Listen to the main melody from the very beginning and tell me that it doesn't sound like Led Zeppelin's "Communication Breakdown"
@@nicoloenricorimoldi7425 Clearly so. There's another instance as well. If you go and watch one of my Similar Sounding Video Game Themes videos, you'll notice that Cubit Foxtar's stage from MMZ3 sounds like Stairway to Heaven

it makes his ZX biometal dialog all the more fitting as he would follow X to any battle.
Hidden Phantom has always been my favorite out of the 4 guardians. He seemed so interesting.
This stage was always so much freaking fun
mainly cause you got to hear THIS while you were slicing and dicing everything in your way!
The best game stage, I guess, and the secret Phantom battle is the better part
The beginning sounds like Ginza from Megami Tensei.
This sounds like storm eagle's theme.
And _E1M1_ too
I recognized that instantly lol
This aged nicely th-cam.com/video/lGFsp7vCFrg/w-d-xo.html
Yeah it does
Yea it almost does go into it but then it doesn't
Power Rangers 1st intro + MMX1 Storm Eagle= this
Really good song that goes overlooked.
The entire budget of Z1's music design was spent on Enemy Hall and Crash

Fluffy Milkshake
For Endless Fight was mostly alright

*Ultimate eargasm ensues*
Ah, it's called "Hell's Gate Open" because you reunite with the undead.
***Storm Eagle Theme Intensifies***
0:50 This part is so amazing!
Every Reploid on the planet against Zero.
_MISSION START_
One of the most underrated tracks from the entire Zero series.
Two baby elf die by Zero
Alouette : ZERO NO BAKA
Zero: If you want to blame me, blame Weil...
Of the 4 guardians, I'd say Phantom was the best... Why'd he have to go and blow himself up?
phantom was also the development team's favorite guardian to the point where the still secretly consider him zero's rival. they just wrote him out really badly
At least he gets a sick fight in this game and has his legacy carried on through Tech Kraken in Zero 4.
He dies so Harpuia can become the leader of Arcadia. We have a victim of the plot here.
@@ahmetfatih4121 Was Phantom the leader of the Four Guardians?
@@hessiankyojin Not indicated in the story but i think he was a bit above the other 3.
-Doom’s- Hell’s gate open
Imagine a remix of "At Doom's Gate" and "Hell's Gate Open"
That would be cool!
As this stage suggests. It's Hell and Omega is the Devil.
by far the most epic music in the zero saga
I bet nobody's heard this, but they will now once I point it out. Listen to the main melody from the very beginning and tell me that it doesn't sound like Led Zeppelin's "Communication Breakdown"
Ippo Yamada certainly likes Led Zeppelin. Gravity from MMZ2 sounds like Kashmir.

Ok...i just came from reading the comments of the ginza theme from smt1(the psx version) and gosh, the intro is pretty much the same as this
Go Go power rangers!
It does sound like it. Lol
Agh, my mind keeps trying to autocorrect it to Storm Eagle's stage at points!
Same! So true!
So its
The power rangers theme
Storm Eagle
Doom music
And Ginza
Shin Megami Tensei 1 Ginza Theme? Is you?
Wha
@@yalta5060 This theme remembers a lot of the Ginza Theme from Shin Megami Tensei 1 for SNES
True
Doom? *Is that you?*
Ya te vi, Doom!
Doom, Storm eagle and power rangers. Jajakaksk
This is so fucking EARGASMIC
Dayum this is funky!
1:18 bro this is amazing!
Someone has read certain chapters of Chainsaw Man related at the hell while hearing this epic music?
Thats oddly specific lol
I like this music
Literally Communication Breakdown from Led Zeppelin
So true,
BANGA
Zero's own Doom music
0:17 wowowowow
That's a bit happy for a song called Hell's gate open! But is a great song
Well nothing makes us happier in a Zero game then slashing our way through everything and making mincemeat out of the boss.
the intro sounds like hooks in you :v
i got it
Zero in doom eternal
Or Doom slayer in Neo Arcadia.
Born to be zero/ wild
So true
born to be wild
So true
Man.... Por que caralhos essa música é tão subestimada?
hells yessssssssss
SMT Ginza
MY FUCKING JAAAAAAMMM!!!!!!!!
Heroic
This sounds similar to the power rangers theme at the start
This lowkey sounds like the intro stage of Megaman X-1
Essa música tem uns pontos BEM IGUAIS a Rockin' in the Free World de Neil Young, sério, muito parecido.
Yeah But also sound like a bit of wolverine theme from the mvc
