Thanks for the interview ! In our science-freaktion era, I think this pair of dedicated creators are helping an adult and mature audience to understand the powers and possible dangers of technology, so they can adjust (themselves and their kids) to it. I enjoyed watching so many new actors, the pertinent use of music, and the great variance of topics and geography. Cheers !
I personally enjoyed the bleak endings. I think their writing delivered a dose of reality, that people haven't really learned to settle with, and what better way is there to get people to consider this shift in perspective than to take it to the extreme? Bravo I say, bravo.

She seems to be in a lot of denial about how bleak, pessimistic, dystopian and generally depressing most of the episodes are. Don't get me wrong, I like and appreciate what the show is doing. The social commentary is important. But I also wish it was a lot more balanced, with more episodes showing how technology could be used in positive, productive ways. Dystopian sci-fi movies have been around since the early 1930's. It's time for something new now.. Perhaps some episodes inspired by Solarpunk and the works of futurists like Buckminster Fuller and Jacque Fresco.
But it is Anti technology. I remember the episode where people had perfect memory. If we had that in real world so many problem could be solved like witness testimony. People are in jail because witnesses have bad memory.
I wouldn't call it anti-tech per se, but it's certainly very one-sided in it's extreme pessimistic, dystopian focus on the abuse of technology. Black Mirror isn’t anti-tech. Yeah right. Stoners have been coming up with weird robot conspiracy theories BEFORE this show even was heard of, along with books like 1984 and movies like The Terminator. People’s paranoia goes up to an 11 after the first season lol
Why doesnt anybody say that Charlie Brooker is NOT the future of TV , COMEDY , SCI FI or anything else... if you liketasteless idiotic , ignorant drivel youll probably love him .. as many do.. for me , hes a squeaky voiced irritant with a silly beard whose never made me laugh once...
Brooker is a genius. I think his work will be looked upon in history as people like Orwell, Ballard, Burroughs, Serling et al. A brilliant mind.
In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is a genius.
agreed orwell especially

Black Mirror is----HORROR
Yeah. I have watched it on Netflix and it's so scared, it's so hard.
Only real artist can make this show, respect for Charlie Brooker.
Haha they are not away of how horrifying their work is. But surely, two geniuses human beings, they show us an entirely different side of technology.

Its not its about how humans abuse it.
