today I surprised my mom and my little sister, Sophie with a day trip to Barcelona!!! this was SO MUCH FUN and I can't believe I actually pulled it off - or that they trusted me hahaha. I hope you're excited for daily vlogs this week. I can't wait to share my moving experience with you!

I love day trips like this! Pre-2020 I did a few of these. Used to call them my 24h of madness. It was way more than 24h tho. Get up at 4, airport, a full day wherever, and back to the airport at night, spend the night at the airport and back home with the first flight. Exhausting but also so much fun!

I had metal staples in my head from open brain surgery and one or two times the detector’s have gone off due to those. They aren’t supposed to but they have.

Did you get to see any museums or iconic spots? Or was it just a shops and food trip?
Yes! we saw the sagrada familia, the main cathedral, casa batllo and went to the port! We managed ti fit so much in! Museums aren't really doable with a day trip!

We love doing a day trip! We go wherever has the best flight times, we explore somewhere completely new that we may have not chosen to have gone too and it's soooo much cheaper and easier than a weekend away. It's also surprising how much you can get done without feeling rushed.
