Hello Doc! I am Irfan From India. I found this video very informative and also got to know that the facet joint injections are only a delay to curing the actual cause of pain. Please make a video on Minimal Invasive Surgery(MIS) for degenerative lumbar disc. Its Pros & Cons.

Radiofrequency ablation of my facet joints was a miracle..... The first month afterwards I thought I made a mistake, but as the nerves died... I smiled... I was able to run and jump faster than anyone just like I used to be when I was 10.... After six years they grew back and now I can barely walk again... I have to quit my job and I have no insurance and no way of getting the 0p again... It should be free it was such a miracle

Appreciated the check engine light analogy. Can it be said that the facet injection is "more" of a root cause treatment of a painful facet? Thus, it would be best to do a facet injection first?
What I'm thinking is that my arthritic facet joint was aggravated and inflamed by a certain activity. My understanding is that inflammation can become a bit self perpetuating. By calming the inflammation with a steroid it breaks the cycle. I get that it doesn't cure the arthritis but it does cure the current inflammation. Also, that going forward, this arthritic joint could be re-inflamed by some other activity.

    Hello sir..... please help me
I have bulge disc of cervical.
Loss of normal cervical curvature is seen suggestive of spasm. Diffuse disc bulge is seen at C4-5 level causing anterior thecal sac indentation without significant compression over the nerve roots on either side. Right para-central disc bulge is seen at C5-6 IV disc level causing anterior thecal sac indentation and narrowing of neural foramina resulting in compression over the exiting nerve roots on right side. Diffuse disc tulge is seen at C6-7 IV disc level causing anterior thecal sac indentation with minimal narrowing uf neural foramina resulting in impingement over the exiting nerve roots bilateraly at same level.
    Part of my mri report

While there are lots of complex medical terms, the limited report you shared do not indicate a severe problem. Because you have pain, you may have a straightened spine, but it can also be your normal curvature. The C4-5 is without compression. The C5-6 does indicate a right sided narrowing. If you have right sided arm pain, that could explain it. The c6-7 does not indicate a significant narrowing. I cannot give you any specific advice, but the results do not seem too alarming. Please discuss your report with your doctor. As long as you do not have intolerable pain, and no loss of bowel/bladder function and no loss of the ability to control your muscles, you have time to get the right advice. In the meanwhile, continue to exercise and stretch . Good luck!

A check engine light is really to protect the catalytic converter So the engine stays in TUNE Therefore giving a good balance to the catalytic Converter Therefore not polluting the air It changes carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide
