I really enjoy listening to ensemble music from this era of the 1960s and 1970s (especially that recorded outside mainland China), as it preserves styles dating back to the 1920s and 1930s (especially the Chinese Broadcasting Orchestra, which eventually found itself in Taipei), and with the "modernization" that happened after this time with most orchestras in China, it was all downhill after that. This is a particularly good example, with excellent sound quality. I'd like to know more about this ensemble and its musicians, but I guess the jacket doesn't provide their names.
Do you think this was recorded after Yao's death? I would find it valuable if you routinely included the location (or likely location) of recording, and the city/country in which the ensemble was based.
