You won’t know the spirit of this bike unless you let it wind up…at least 6-7k RPMs. The first time my wife rode mine she rode it like her Vstrom. She was “meh” about it. The next time she rode it she opened it up a bit and had an exhilarating ride. The Trans Alp wakes up where her Vstrom goes to sleep, around 6k.
