In my opinion the extended abdomen of Juan Ramirez’s Kryptonite Caddis sets this caddis apart from other imitations.
Although its not the first time a fly pattern has used knotted Amnesia as an extended abdomen, it’s use on the Kryptonite Caddis makes this imitation truly stand out.

The Kryptonite Caddis is an awesome caddis pattern that is a pretty easy tie.
Go get a spool of Amnesia monofilament and tie up a couple dozen of these cool little patterns for your fly box.
