I keep coming back to this video. It’s been 9 years and this video is living in my mind rent free ♥️
Same. I lived in NYC for some time and this video somehow encapsulates my feelings at the time.
@@OneDisposition your comment has led me back to it again. So much comfort this video brings, really.
I have to say this time lapse video has held up very well eleven years on. Love the camera work and the sound track is superb.
Ive had this as a fav for 12 years. Still dont know how it isnt over 1m.
Absolutely awesome!
I cried the first time I watched this. New York City is my home, and I hate that I am not there right now, but watching this video made me feel just as alive as I did when I was there. Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is truly one of the most honestly breath taking and raw things I have ever seen. Perfection.
This is the most beautiful city I´ve ever seen... the most beautiful city I´ve ever been. You gotta love it. Greetings from Czech Republic, Europe.
Absolutely stunning, shows what a fantastic city New York is
of all the timelapse vides of NYC...this has always been my favorite. I listen to the song all the time and I always think of NYC and the video. Seeing this gives me chills, and pretty much makes me cry. Manhattan is my favorite city ever and this really shows how beautiful it truly is
dang, i really appreciate people who make things like this.
This was worth every second of the countless hours you put into it, because every last shot is truly beautiful.
I can't think of a better art form. Just perfect.
Had the pleasure of going to New York in '99 and '00. This is a beautiful capture of an amazing city. Two of may favourite buildings Flatiron and The Empire State..
This is the best video of Manhattan I've ever seen. I got to watch this everyday to kick start my day. (: This is exactly the place that holds my dreams. I can't wait to return to New York again!
Nice Time Lapse.
Excellent work mindrelic! Been to NYC before, but watching these images just doubles my expectation on how beautiful the city will be for my visit in a couple weeks! Staying at the double tree times square!!
Oh my god. This looks beautiful. I dream about going there. All those art deco skyscrapers, people, streets, nightlife.... One of the greatest cities in the world in my opinion!
I LOVE your videos mindelic. They showcase what I have always envisioned the 21st century city to be.
I cannot be more thankful for having the chance to live in New York, NY....the best city in the world!
This video is pure awesomeness..! Every single shot is a masterpiece itself.. Excellent work, excellent music choice, amazing video!
Simply breathtaking, I'm deeply moved. Thank you

After 50+ viewings I have to dip in here again. This is the most brilliant melding of music and video I've ever seen. Only 2500 views! It should have won awards out the wazoo. Thanks Josh and American Dollar !
Mindrelic I am a fan your videos are so thought provoking in a good way and envoke so emotions for me, these are masterpieces they have a human component!!

You are my hero. I absolutely love this video! Put's a smile on my face each time I see it and it makes me want to go to NY! :D Please tell me you have more videos like that somewhere?? :D
♥
Breathtaking! Thank you so much for making this video!
Mindrelic, this is actually one of the most impressive timelapses I have ever come across. The effects you incoporate (changing the angle mid-scene, varying the pace of the sequence...) are fantastic. Would love to speak to you more about the "making of"
Prarthana
@mindrelic Thanks did not see the links. It was great the way you did kind of a "reveal" shot when the camera slowly seems to go out over the edge of the building to let the viewer see more and more of what is below. Not to mention that you get the feeling of floating out into the sky.
This was absolutely amazing. Technically brilliant. Those shots where the camera was off the building were especially great.
Keep up the good work.
You do AMAZING work. BRAVO!
Man, I haven't almost cried from watching something beautiful in a long time. Thanks for this gorgeous video, mindrelic!
This was brilliant!! I love NY... And not for the flashy lights, times square was good the first time. every time i visit i come to see the great architecture and design which has been portrayed beautifully in this video!! It seems jarrmunter seems a bit jealous of your great tallent and skills, reading his comments made me think he was armish, but even they can't be that self oppinionated...
Thanks for sharing your great work!! And to all those who leave bad comments want to get their heads
a near-lifelong NYer, i've become desensitized to the surroundings/take for granted what's always there.
this vid reminds me just how beautiful the world is through someone else's eyes.
***** I suppose the daily grind did it to you.?
Took my kids to Manhattan last year. Have to show it to them. Hope this helps you get some paying work. It's a gift to everyone who loves Manhattan.
Beautiful and just amazing!
love it, what lens did you use?
This is perfectly amazing.
I've watched quite a few time lapse videos on youtube and this is the by far the best. This is like a whole nother lever. I don't know how you did some of that stuff, but damn... respect. Awesome job, dude. I also noticed that a few other people have uploaded the same video to their own accounts and have not given you proper credit. That is definitely NOT COOL!!!
WOW!! This film is by far the best timelaps I've EVER seen! How long is every shot?
this is my favorite video on youtube.

Esto es nueva York.
Increible,Sin palabras.
Hi i feel the same every single time that i see this video!!! I´ve never been ther but i hope go soon!!!
OMG~How mcuh TIMES U spend......YOU are AMAZING
Roo writes to Visionary. Thank U is not enough. Since about a month we broke the reality, we created a mass of positive energy and showed that adulthood is not a fried pork chop. Words can't describe this. I'm grateful for all of this. Lot's of hugs. ;)
V. replies R. It took my breathe away. Your choice was the best one I could ever imagine, even exceeded all my expectations. Apart from dispelling my apathy about NY with this one single piece of great art, apart from that, Roo, You've once again proven that we can break the reality. Anywhere and anytime.
It's a pleasure, as always and as never before at once.
LOVE this.... thumbs up Mr
Wow. Such hard work. Excellent job.
Never been visited Manhattan before but i’m so in love with it 🥰😍
which cameras are used for removal of this remarkable video??
Canon EOS???
Fantastic work. Did you have some kind of dolly or truck to make the shots from rooves where the camera is moving? And how did you get it to move so slowly and uniformly??? Thanks!
why would anyone dislike this? Haters!
Arnold Nagy people hace the right to dislike does anyone call you a hater when you dislike?
amazing work
how does anyone not like this?
great work, awesome video
Love it, great video. I live in NYC now for a year and its motion never bores. I've uploaded a link of this video to my LinkedIn profile, hope you don't mind.
I wonder why this video doesn't have nearly 1,000,000 views.
What an amazing video, you've really captured the beauty of New York in your own, unique way. It's so inspirational. You offer an insight & view of the city that is literally out of this world. The music is beautiful too and woven so well within the video. I've never been to New York but am hopeful to one day go there, watching this makes me want to go all the more. Thank you for creating such a meaningful and thoughtful piece of work. It really is something special :-)
I'm sorry, do you have some sort of special tripod to make the picture so smooth for such long time? Cause WOW!! Awesome. Respect!
Very nice. Good promo for NYC.
My GOD! Awesome!
Mesmerizing.
I miss NY all the time, been there last year and this year, hope I can go back on 2014,I cant make it in 2013 which is depressing me a lot
What camera and equipment did you use? this is absolutely impressive! Our firm may consider hiring you in the future.
incredible.. amazing job bro... you truly capture the beauty of this phenominal city. how many cameras (and what kind of cameras) did you use?
