Put your U lock through the front and rear wheels as well as the center of your frame. Put your seat in your backpack. I think one of the most important purchases is your seat. Consider an upgrade to your budget. Finally SPD clip in pedals give you about a 30% increase in power and you can get a combined SPD/BMX pedal for about 50$. You would then consider a combo shoe..another 50$. So worth it! I happen to prefer a drop style handle bar and this is about 30$. Keep in mind your Fixe has started at 299$ so with all these upgrades you would have a ride that can take you years up the road.

Jackbskate get the original fixed gear if your just gonna ride on the weekends. but if your gonna ride it alot i recommend the urban track because it is vetter quality and has an aluminum frame compared to the original fixie which has a hi tensal steel frame witch are bad.

I had a #Trek the same exact color and design. 5:47 Good point. My new bike didn't come with the grease; I used vaseline which worked just as well!
