Personally I think Mark Allen's shot N was the cheekiest. Not only was it a plant double, it was for the 147, and he played it with a lot of side to get a better position on the black. Still a great video as usual, and John's shot was a close second. Happy New Year from Andebu, Norway
Said it before, I will say it again… you are too strict scoring yourself. That last shot for judd trump you got the pink dead weight and the white was only fractionally off where it was meant to be and yet only a 7. Great video keep up the good work
Some of these shots are absolutely perfectly recreated and yet you gave yourself just 8/10. Ridiculous :) Allen's first double and Stan Moody's one were recreated absolutely perfectly. See you in 2025, mate! 🤝
Hi BFL, have watched your earlier vids over and wanted to ask you about your cue. At some stage you had a new ferrule and made a 58 break using a cheap club cue. I picked one up recently as couldn't get any feel from my cue at all, lost my temper and just asked behind bar for a crap cue. Ended up making a few decent breaks with it out of nowhere. So, I wondered what's going on with cues, how can I play better with a broom handle? I'm thinking a lot of it is psychological
Hello! That’s a nice cheekiest double! Happy new year from Busan, South Korea! Yep, you nailed that Jon Higgins deserved to be the cheekiest double as isn’t easy to take the match willing clearance in a deciding frame! Well done! 🇰🇷
Now you’re well practiced at doubles, could you please do a video on how to actually do them. I don’t think you’ve done one on lining up doubles and how to know when there’s a risk of the double kiss
Don't forget that Higgins was under incredible pressure for that shot - he was not only playing it to stay in the match, but to stay in the top 16. He did know going into the tournament that he would literally drop out of the top 16 if he exited too early. Whether or not he was conscious of it at that precise moment is debatable, but it was in there somewhere... and he had time to think about the shot before playing it 😮
Plant double for the 147 for me.
Happy New Year!
Allen’s shot N all day long. That double into a 147 was straight out of a video game.
@@AidanMillward I don’t even know how he saw it Ruby
@@AidanMillward I don’t even know how he saw that really
Should have 100% been the Mark Allen plant double IMO. A plant AND a double in the middle of a 147? That's about as cheeky as it gets!
@@dizzygunner yeah, I might have to revisit that

Why does the cue ball showing the tip position look deflated?
I noticed this as well, maybe it's supposed to look like a snowball??
It’s a snowball.
It took me a moment to realise it was a snowball!
@@dragos7puri it was supposed to be a snowball and didn’t work very well
I just thought it was a challenge ball
Thanks for that and for reminding me what day it is. Can't believe Mark Allen's plant double didn't win!

Great, but man can you work on your thumbnails.
hold up... allen made a plant onto a double which he then ran to a 147 and you don't call that the best shot?
Don't forget that Higgins was under incredible pressure for that shot - he was not only playing it to stay in the match, but to stay in the top 16. Dont mean to be 'that guy' but your shots will always be easier as your pockets are far more worn amd bigger than tournament pockets and cushions
Higgins double was the easiest but he got 5 chillies and the winner.

Think it’s the situation. Would have been heading out if he’d not won that frame, if I remember rightly?
@@djelalhassan7631 it’s a confusing system
@@alfonsobonzo3782 But the criterion of judgment was for the cheeikiest double not for the match's outcome.
@@Breakfromlife Yeah life is confusing enough as it is at least lets keep it simple in Snooker/Pool games.
