@@alphabudgets I just wrote out a whole debt payoff plan for myself and had more fun planning than I did with the idea of paying off debt lmao. Planning is so much freaking fun idk why😂😂💛
@ right?!?! I could spend hours planning everything out and redoing/ organizing everything. I’m like ohh let’s redo this. Or my friends will be talking and I’ll be like oh if you set a budget like this and then try planning it out for them 😂😂
It’s better to go through a Debt Management Program versus a debt consolidation loan or debt cancellation program as they tend to be more predatory. I found my DMP through my credit union and it helped a ton with managing all the consumer debt I have. But I think if yours is manageable the things that DMPs do, you can do yourself. I just had too much debt and needed extra help. Hope this helps. ❤
I would be careful with debt consolidation. I’m sure you can’t use your credit cards until the debt is paid off and it might drop your credit score. I financed my car though a credit union. I got a really good rate it was so good the car sales men didn’t even try to compete with it. Credit unions are known to give better rates than like a bank or dealership. I got out of my minor debt just by being very discipline and saving where I could. I didn’t get my nails done, no crazy shopping said no to a lot of outing with my friends. I was able to pay off my credit card and school loan within a year. Use your taxes or any extra income to your debt. It hurts in the moment but frees up so much money. Being able to get my nails done and have dinners was my motivation 😂You can do it Lily!!
I have had two upstart loans and I have had no issues with them. They were great when I needed them and I made extra payments to pay it off faster since the payments are usually low.
Be extremely careful with debt consolidation. It was my last resort after my divorce. It did work very well for me, however, several of the credit cards reported it to the IRS. This is considered “income” since I received goods and they consider this income, so I had to pay the taxes on the thousands of dollars of forgiven debt. While I was out of debt, now I owed money to the IRS.

I would research debt consolidation before doing it. I haven't heard good things about doing it.
I'm a new subscriber, do you not have vet or emergency fund for your dogs?
@@coffeelover1084 welcome!! I have a fund for my pets. My vet bills go onto my care credit card and I pay them off interest free.

Be careful with debt consolidation. A lot of debt consolidation companies/loans can be pretty predatory.
My guess?? Pregnancy brain 😉💛
@@BudgetingWithKim omg PLEASE manifest that over here!!😭😂😍
Austin’s should say $330 not $325. Make sure you also adjust Manifest from $310 to $305. Great stuffing as always!
Thank you! I'll def make the changes but probably not until next stuffing because I'm lazy and I'll forget hahaha
