u sir are a pioneer & trend setter. u should be getting paid for ur tutorials. I changed my walker set up to a bungee over the shoulder too after u told me. best set up ever.
Thanks for posting this. Why do you like the over the shoulder bungy as opposed to hass system you were using. Also wondering how you like the Rope Runner. Thanks
Love the Rope Runner, haven't put it down or used anything else since i've got it! The bungy over the shoulder pulls the "knee" ascender all the way up to your hitch or RR (or whatever is capturing your progress). Also this system strips down very small, and each piece can be used for a different application. I use the foot strap for redirects in the tree. The ascender for traverses from tree to tree (or can be set up for mechanical advantage when returning from a limb walk) and well the bungy doesn't take up any space. The haas is a great system and works great, I found it hard to stow when climbing and it is only fits one application. This works just as well but is more versatile. Thats what i look for in my equipment.

Thanks, You've given me some ideas on how I can tweak my system.
Nice setup! what rope are you using?
The rope is Donaghy NRG.
