This is AWESOME I love this channel, and I really appreciate the subs. I want to ask you something, I'm learning to draw now and I'm very interested in drawing this kind of art but my faces seem to fail the style so I wanted to know if maybe you have of some references or tutorials I can use to improve or maybe some tips to get the features on those faces a little bit better. I would really appreciate some help with this. Again your channel is super cool , please keep posting. Greetings from Colombia. Gracias.
Thank you so much for watching 🙏🙏 I’d recommend staring from tracing faces of ukiyoe that style of your preference. I’d recommend learning from kuniyoshi. When you are tracing, please pay attention to the positions of facial parts and structures. That will help understand method to make the drawing more towards classics. Good luck 👍
Hi 👋 there is so many different type of washi so it’s really hard to say here. I do treat my paper with this liquid sealer call “dosa” and it prevents from ink to spread, also water stretch on the board if paper is thin to prevent from wrinkling. Thank you for your support 🙏
Hello 👋 thank you for checking out the video, I usually buy them when I go back home to japan and haven’t had much luck finding them online. But this store website form japan has great products, not exactly the stuff I use but looks really nice. For the weight of paper, it is personal preference and depending on what you are trying to achieve. I use all sort of weight of paper. So I recommend trying many different paper and find out for yourself. Cheers 🙏😊 pigment.tokyo/product/?category=PAPER/Washi%20paper

How do you properly use washi? I bought some but I don't understand how to use it properly verses watercolour paper! Beautiful as always.
