Karate as self defence is a joke, its a martial art based around scoring points and touching people. Dont get me wrong there are some kicks in karate that arnt complety usless but even then the kicks in muay thai are better bc they focused on power damage accuracy and speed where karates kicks are focused soley on speed and accuracy. And thats just kicks dont get me started on punches elbows knees and clinch.
I think karate would easily dominate muay thai. i can see one of your blackbelt championship trophies in the background, you should hang some of your belts up there too 3:36 those kids dont even look that tough i could take on 3 at once probs

You have no idea what you’re talking about Muay Thai dominates and is certainly one of the best striking forms for mma and ufc.
