As this season progressed it became so clear that he was something special and it was obvious that he was going to be the winner. He won with more than 53% of votes with the second place being at only 22%... Such a special talent

@@Looping21 I disagree. I can see why people would call her overrated. Her lyrics appear shallow on the surface, and most people don't vibe with her singing style as well as the tone of the song.
However, I will say that her lyrics are really, really good. They don't focus as much on love and all that sickeningly sweet stuff as much as they do Billie’s own take on life, which is dark, depressing and in some cases scarily accurate. Her music is uniquely relatable to your average teen, and that, coupled with “edgy” and “catchy” music, have contributed to her success today. Billie Eilish is not “overrated”. If she was, then we’d consider many of the greats of the past century overrated as well. Billie started off as nobody, and her music itself was enough to propel her to fame. Anyone who can rise to superstardom because of songs they wrote is never overrated
