Decades later, sitting around in a diner with a keyboard, couple of guitars, and a PA system, and they still make better music than what is barfed out of most radio stations today.
These guys were and are awesome. And they didnt get the recognition they deserved. But they have forever loyal fans ...me being one. At one time i had every one of their cds and my car was broken into at work and those were the thing that wss taken. I know who it was but could never prove it.
At my final departure, this will be played for my Sweetheart who left this life in Sept 2020 four yrs ago, I am totally lost an the pain is excruciating never to let up until the winds don`t blow .

Well I guess that's true but Larry Stewart has a very unique voice which gives Restless Heart their unique sound. One of the truly great voices ever in country music.
The harmonies this group sings are unparalleled. They sound as good now as they did 30 years ago. Country music would do itself justice if they had groups like Restless Heart today.
You're right on all your comments. I've listened to them from the start. And there's not, and probably never will be in my lifetime another group of musicians that come close to sounding as good as Restless Heart.
One of my goals in life was to see Exile. Saw them earlier this year in an intimate theater. My friends, who are concert fanatics, said probably the best concert they’ve ever seen. Exile did not disappoint.
I feel for the 10 or so who went to the effort to "dislike" this performance. You dislike articulate love songs, beautiful voices, perfect-pitch harmonies and positive emotions. I pity you.

My sister’s husband passed recently from ALS and she does the same thing. They’d seen RH in Baton Rouge and danced to this song along with much of the audience. It’s ok to cry, it’s ok to grieve, but it’s also so important to remember…for all of your lifetime…how much you loved him and how much he loved you! May you find peace and happiness again!

Restless heart is so underrated their vocals and harmonization is every bit as good as the eagles and Don Henley and Glenn Frey God bless these guys for being around and playing so much music for so many years that I adore

That said, Marty has pitch problems sometimes, and yet Larry could sing the phone book, and it would sound awesome. RH has a full wall of sound vocally, and now Gene has retired from DR(I always said Gene was their secret weapon). Both bands are awesome, but for slightly different reasons. A highlight of my life was seeing them together in Bean Blossom, about 4 years ago. Both played full sets. I'm 95% positive that DR is now playing with pre recorded tracks, which bums me out.

I had the chance to see both Restless Heart and Diamond Rio together, it was probably one of the best concerts I’ve been to. I even got the chance to meet Diamond Rio and get autographs from all the band members and got a photo taken with The lead singer Marty Roe.
Saw them at the Circle Star Theater in the Bay Area back in the day... amazing band live. Flawless harmonies. They did a couple Eagles covers that blew everyone away....

My wife was a DJ for the station from 3pm-12am five nights a week and I worked at a local trailer manufacturing plant on dayshift. I would go stay with her every night until she got off work. I remember that they performed this song at the Grammys or the CMA's. The song was nominated but sadly, didn't win. I was truly sad about that.
