I can relate so hard. Recently my best friend decided to hurt me and start being friends with my enemies. Before she flipped when I didn’t answer my phone for a couple hours but now I don’t remember the last time she texted me first or checked in on me. It hurts and it’s been awhile. My closest friend saved me. I don’t know how long I would’ve lasted without her, but it still hurts to have my best friend gone. What sucks is I can’t get over it.
My BFF and I became friends because we were both dropped by others, we picked each other up and I TALKED HER OUT OF SUICIDE! but her ex best friend came back to her and I was left by myself, no friends since her friend group was mine and they chose her, crying every night. This is the very relatable anthem throughout my life... it's that feeling when you used to be happy with someone you've known for a lifetime and when we get older their actions/words/attitude changed along with them. it hurts so much that the "old them" becomes a memory from your younger self.
My whole family are basically strangers to me, they would hardly meet after my grandpa died like more than a decade ago, they would still have get-togethers sometimes because of my grandma, but after she died they hardly ever talk to each other. Sometimes my aunt calls them for Christmas, but my mom is one of the few who shows up. I always go to my dad's house in this kind of event so I haven't seen them in a decade.

I'm 30 years old and I suffer with chronic illnesses, I use to go out all the time in my 20's and I had so many good friends. Now that I've been sick nobody hits me up anymore because I cant go out and party like i use to. This song hits my heart... thank you.❤

I also suffer of a chronic illness. It changed my life, I lost friends but I realized it was fake friends only for " fun" or interest. But I also met new people or keep some few friends that became more than friends. Keep going. Trust in you. Don't loose your time. Take care 💜
