Congratulations! My daughter's wedding date (September 2020) was chosen because she wanted an October wedding, but every weekend was booked except one, and her dj wasn't available. The only date he had available is 9/19 so that's what she went with. Best wishes to you.

My wedding date was going to be July 21, 2020 in Destin, Florida. But we decided to wait one more year to get married. Because I was going to try to get into grad school and it conflicted with our wedding stuff. I didn’t get accepted into the program. But my fiancé decided to still have this year but not in Florida. So now that we know I didn’t get accepted we are now try to pick a new wedding date. We are getting married at my mom’s church in my hometown this summer. My mom wants us to have wedding during a time my brother who lives in Florida can come but the dates I picked my mom doesn’t think he will be able to because it’s to close to his girlfriend due date of their baby. I picked either June 27, 2020 or July 11, 2020. But we are going to pick a new date soon. We want to have the wedding before our family vacation to Florida which that is July 17-25 and my fiancé doesn’t want to have the wedding the weekend of July 4. So that doesn’t really leave us with a lot of Saturday options.

I asked a friend about photography and it got me thinking. I asked my husband about when he wanted to get married and he said October, his parents got married in October so it's special to him. I opened up the calendar and said pick a day. He picked Halloween.(Which is my favourite holiday!) So we were scheduled to have it this year, but of course COVID happened, so we rescheduled for next year. (We had to do a mini-mony in March because of legal reasons. So our big ceremony is now next year.)
