Yeah. I wondered why CT had dried up. I was really looking forward to it finding its feet once Alex was gone and we didn't have to put up with his try hard 15 year old recycled Top Gear gags any more. Then it never really happened.

From what I've seen my guess is Will and Callum are good but they both don't seem on good terms with Scott. This is just based on social posts where they basically don't mention Scott at all. Haven't seen anyone mention anything official.

Man at this point the old guard of British car channels is almost gone... Matt and Tommy leaving WTF1 to start their own channel, Alex leaving CT start his own gig, Edwin and Will leaving CT and Overdrive respectively, at this point it seems like its only a matter of time until Jack and Ethan either join TDC or AutoAlex or start their own thing as well. Can't wait for some of the incredible content that some of my favorite car TH-camrs will create now that almost all of them are free to do what they want to do.

well CT in general has been a sinking ship for some time now, it wouldve only been a matter of time even if alex stayed. i bet theres not more than maybe 1 or 2 years before CT completely goes under (website and all). if a company cant budget you good materials for a video you know its bad.

When Alex left CT, CT died. It felt like CT was stumbling around trying to get back on its feet. Then EDWIN came along and he basically saved the channel for me. His humour and personality complimented the others well and he was the absolute perfect candidate to take over for Alex. Instantly subbed. I hope you can bring the other two guys along with you. For me car throttle was alex Ethan jack ..when alex left it felt empty.. Since the company sold its a down hill slope like hoonigans... Sucks hope they all separate and make there own channels...
I think CT got better when Alex left. Jack and Ethan just felt like sidekicks when they were together. Alex works better with Taylor on his own channel while Jack, Ethan, and Edwin worked well as a group. Sadly it looks like Jack and Ethan need to find new jobs.
Gonna be sad not seeing Edwin on Car Throttle anymore but I’ve instantly subscribed because the restoration videos were the best ones to come from that channel. I’d personally love to see a transparent price breakdown after each restoration, then comparing it to buying one of a similar quality, to see if it was a wise decision or an Edwin decision.

It was always nice having everyone in one place at CT, the content was fun, very enjoyable to watch; but the idea of having multiple channels now, TDC, AutoAlex etc etc, is such a nice thing, more enjoyable content, more often. That's exactly what we'd love to see! Congrats on the new channel, nearly 90,000 subs in 3 days is pretty ludicrous, hopefully, it grows as big as possible!
76k subs by this time. wow. by YT algo, I stumble upon this video and I thought, yeah, I have never seen videos from that previous channel anymore. so here I am. i love watching restorations, modifications and buying junk cars. i watch a lot of American videos, none from UK or Europe for that matter. since I come from a right hand drive country, your videos would appeal to me more than anything else. good luck boys and I'm looking forward to it..
Watch this, Autoalex, Alutoalex v2 and Collecting Cars (Chris Harris at his finest). There's plenty of other UK stuff; Drivetribe, Driftworks, Number 27 etc. I love Car Throttle, Hagerty Revelations, and sometimes Donut (Hi-Lo series) as well.
The problem with Car Throttle is simply that they spend too much in the wrong areas, and don't understand that the audience have a relationship with the presenters, not the name "Car Throttle". Corporations buying TH-cam brands never really works. Can't wait to see what you get up to!

WTF1 is a good example, it went a direction, the staff left -> channel with 1.000.000 subscribers that averages around 6k views per video.

Great to see this video turn up in my recommendations. Always loved Overdrive it always felt like Top Gear, was constantly surprised by how much budget there was for the challenges. Great to see an evolution of that channel.

It was always nice having everyone in one place at CT, the content was fun, very enjoyable to watch; but the idea of having multiple channels now, TDC, AutoAlex etc etc, is such a nice thing, more enjoyable content, more often. That's exactly what we'd love to see! Congrats on the new channel, nearly 90,000 subs in 3 days is pretty ludicrous, hopefully, it grows as big as possible!
76k subs by this time. wow. by YT algo, I stumble upon this video and I thought, yeah, I have never seen videos from that previous channel anymore. so here I am. i love watching restorations, modifications and buying junk cars. i watch a lot of American videos, none from UK or Europe for that matter. since I come from a right hand drive country, your videos would appeal to me more than anything else. good luck boys and I'm looking forward to it..
Watch this, Autoalex, Alutoalex v2 and Collecting Cars (Chris Harris at his finest). There's plenty of other UK stuff; Drivetribe, Driftworks, Number 27 etc.
I love Car Throttle, Hagerty Revelations, and sometimes Donut (Hi-Lo series) as well.

The problem with Car Throttle is simply that they spend too much in the wrong areas, and don't understand that the audience have a relationship with the presenters, not the name "Car Throttle". Corporations buying TH-cam brands never really works. Can't wait to see what you get up to!
