This is one of my happy songs. When ever I am having a bad day I put this on and I have a smile on my face the moment he opens his mouth. Thank you Christian for always putting a smile on my face.
What a great talent. #ChristianKane has an awsome voice, a great actor and a chef. On top of that he's good looking. He makes me #ProudToBeAKaniac. Thank you #ChristianKane for being part of my life.
People are sleeping on this guys music, one hell of an actor, one hell of a singer, and he does his own stunts. This silent legend is the secret son of Chuck Norris. With extra talents
I knew this guy from leverage but I didn't know he sang. He's pretty damn good. I don't know why we haven't heard more from him. There's a little rock in him but I think he would do quite well on the country stations.
He career progressed I to acting....time for singing and recording is hard to find now. I want to go to a concert. It is on my bucket list. I hope he gets a chance to tour again and that I make it to one.
Been watching THE LIBRARIANS , Recently finding out about your music due to seadon 4 episode 4!! High Five 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉Love your music... along with acting and stunts!! Best to you Always❤
:-D YEA, I KINDA FELL OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH ABOUT 23 YRS AGO.... BACK THEN I WAS TOTALLY IMMERSED IN COUNTRY MUSIC, THEN EVERYTHING CAME TO A SUDDEN STOP.... FROZEN IN TIME... THEN I HEARD YOU... YOUR MUSIC REMINDS ME THAT NOT EVERYTHING SUX!! THANK YOU! YOUR MUSIC BRINGS BACK GOOD MEMORIES.... MAKES MY HEART FEEL GOOD AGAIN... THANK YOU!!
I remember him from the Librarians and just started watching Leverage and Almost Paradise. Had no idea he sang until I saw it on Leverage. Wow. Love his music and acting.
@Chynnahenton1 the sad thing is that actors don't get cred as singers because they have money to produce stuff without working hard to do it! this guy is a B list actor but a GREAT singer! I'm a fan of Leverage and this CD is great but he won't be taken seriously by nashville because he is an actor! sad because it is very good and better than most crap on country music stations!
HAHAHAHAHA Hardinson tried to hack his voice on Leverage. All like "My software isn't working!!!!!!" Nate and Sophie are all like Homie don't need that T-Pain shit!
Good thing this song was made 11 years ago. By today's Me Too movement it would be considered sexist especially the verse about Hawanian girls with the Lei part.
Tabatha Goodrich yeah that was for The Librarians and now sadly TNT dropped it and the producer could not find any other TV company that would be interested to pick up The Librarians so alot of people are really upset about that.
Christian, I have watched both Leverage and your new show Almost Paradise and enjoy them both. But I am NOT what you would call a fan. You do a job, you do it well. I have been a musician and Lead singer my entire life. I have done stints in Las Vegas ( NOT, in New Mexico, LOL ) and toured pretty much everywhere domestically. I let you know the "not a fan" part so that you won't think that i am some kind of "star struck" nut job and actually listen to my advice, at least long enough to take a few of your releases back into the studio and apply my suggestions and see what YOU think. You have a really good voice. Not great, but very good and solid. When you soften your tones and singer quieter, that is where you excel. When you "punch it" on the harder, faster country you sound good, but you could sound better, a lot better. Either you are trying too hard to sound more classic country, or perhaps that is what you listen to and/or grew up around and it is what you like and/or know best. If you are happy with the level of success that you have had with your singing and song-writing, then by all means, disregard me. But if you want to take it to the next level before Father Time the "boyish good looks, with the rugged but gentle side" and your voice loses the albeit small, but clear falsetto that you have naturally in your voice. Without being able to be there with you in a studio to show you what I mean, I have to get creative and try to get you to "think" that which I'd rather show you technically. Here you go. Take your song where you start out by apologizing to all of the women for the way that you are. Soften the percussion by about 50% and take both the lead and base guitar and drop them back in the song, so that they are heard, but not so that they draw the attention away from you, your voice and the lyrics. Now from what I have seen of your acting, a large part of each of your characters is YOU. That was NOT an insult. It has worked outstandingly for Tom Selleck. His Magnum character was over 50% himself, as is his other huge success, Blue Bloods. But if you look at his Jesse Stone movies and his short-lived recurring character on Friends, where he tried to move away from himself being the core of the character ( most likely directors' idesa ), you, me and most everyone else DID NOT feel that "connection" to his character. You have a very similar personality and sense of humor to his, at least so far as what I have seen in both Leverage and Almost Paradise. Now in BOTH of those shows, your character was a tough guy, but in a combination "soft" and "funny" way. THAT is what you need to apply to your music. With the song with the apology, forget all about everything else except the feelings that brought you to write the lyrics. In fact, it wouldn't be a bad idea at all if you brought in one of those girls from your past and sang the song to her. Use her as a surrogate for all of the women you are sorry for how you were with. And sing the song the same way you would "say" the song to each of them, with the same flow of emotion and with the same occasional little interjection of your humor, JUST LIKE YOU WOULD iF YOUR WERE APOLOGIZING/EXPLAINING TO THEM FROM YOUR HEART. And when you let your humor pop through, especially when it comes out as an emotional defense, let it out, but let it out softly. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE YOUR BEST SINGER WHEN YOU ARE YOURSELF !! Go back and watch yourself on both of your primary series and pay particular attention to your subtle ( what women would/will call you "cute" sense of humor ) and the "softness and tone" when the dialogue has you speaking from your heart in a way where you are showing you care. Listen, I'm a little busy with this fun cancer thing, but have got things almost under control. So if YOU happen to get bored enough and have time when not rushing to get one in the "can", shoot me a message : tgr3042@yahoo.com No stalker gene in my DNA. And hell, I haven't eaten an actor for breakfast in at least a good six years, LOL If I don't here from you, wishing you nothing but the best, one singer/musician to another. You've got a lot of talent, you just need to rotate your compass about 15'
